DSA- how are you keeping your res at 67’?

I keep my ambient temps down which keeps the res temps down. My grow area is located in the basement which also helps keep temps down.

Very nice!! How cold does it get for you at night? and are you having any issues with low humidity?

DSA, your setup is similar to what I’ve sketched up here, I’m looking to keep the res out of the room, connected the 4 pot via 2’' pvc, and a 1'’ return line, pulling water by a 290 gph pump to a chiller, then exited to the res. cycling back in to the 4 pots... i figure as long as the res is leveled with the 4 pots, even tho I’m using a 2’’ TEE inside the room dividing the returned water...
question is, do you think this sketch is a Recirculation failure? or you think it’ll work?


id like to not use a water chiller and save the 300watts, but I’m not sure if even having the res outside of the grow area will still keep temps down to 65-68’, id have to keep the ambient temp of the res area around 70’, which might not be too difficult... decisions..decisions...
