Glass pipe as a gift - PLEASE HELP:-)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a really nice pipe as a gift for my father, it is gonna be his 50. bday...I found something I really like http://www.bongin.com/silver-fumed-frog-glass-sherlock-2013/d-70433/ but dont know much about the pipes, just know that I dont want the classic wooden pipe, because he allready has one. I will be grateful for every opinion of the pipe or tip for something else. Thank you.

Looks pretty cool, I'd just be worried about laying it down too fast while stoned and breaking the frog.

That's kinda cool, does your dad like frogs?
How long has he smoked a pipe?
If he's a long time pipe smoker, maybe he'd like something more traditional like the old tobacco pipes?
Either way, I would be tickled if my son gave me a pipe, so I would guess he'll like whatever you end up choosing.

just make sure the bowl isn't too shallow, make sure its long enough where he won't burn his eyebrows and hair, thicker glass is always better, make sure the little hole in the bowl isn't too big or too small so it doesn't suck through or clog.. find one with a simple design so it can be cleaned easy. Lastly make sure it looks cool!
