The coop I bought fit right inside my truck bed. 4x8 I brought it home complete. Bought a couple of hens from the same guy
Made from re-purposed lumber & hardware wire (not chicken wire). Chicken wire is for keeping chickens in, not preditors out!
It was a 'plug-n-play' set-up. We got fresh eggs the next day!
The hen house area is 4x4 & raised off the ground. It has roost bars & nest boxes, that are removable.
It's tall enough to walk into & has an outside door for egg collection & easy cleanout.
I hang their water & feed under their house.
Chickens are cool, I highly recommend them as pets. (with benefits)
We have 2 chickens, but this coop is big enough for 4or5
Good luck
peace

So, when you catch the next door lady's Pomeranian you will apologize how ?

Edit: And a fox pelt this time of year will look like shit.

I have two jack Russel terriers but the fox can get away cause it is slightly faster, but hopefully I'll catch it tommorow morning in the trap or when they try to strike.

Also I think it is a small family or group of foxes

JRT's are fox masters! Your gonna have to let em track it and then dig with the dogs.... its alota work but it works.... if your lucky they will just grab the fox and kill it.. If yur gonna go that road id suggest you do some reading on digging to yur dogs... ive seen guys loose dogs before in holes. Fox can burrow pretty deep man.

They've caught numerous possums and moles so they're experienced diggers but the foxes are agile and get away quick. Not to mention relentless since they attack multiple times in a day.

An opossum is a pretty passive creature and won't put up nearly the fight a wild fox will.
Watch for rabies as well - have you had any reported rabid animals removed in your area?
If I were dealing with your situation I think I'd focus on trapping them before I sic'd my dogs on one.

Isn't it a properly valid point that killing them is pointless - as more will just take their place within a month or two? A mass cull would be effective, but picking them off one or two at time... To properly rid the area of foxes you would need 50terriers and a verrrrry long walkies.

A cattle Fence will keep them away.I'v had to pen up dogs with them and once they touch it I could turn it off. They remembered that shit.
