Hu everyone I recently went from veg to flower but had some problems with root damage n N diff n my babe went weak n yellow so I put her back into veg for the last week. She was only in flower for 4 days n all I'm wondering is when would it b safe to switch back to a 12/12 cycle? I've read a week us enough but also read that I should veg for another month to allow chemical rebalance or run risk of hermies. Is that right or can I now go back to 12/12 now she's fully recovered ???.Thx again guys n gals for any help :)

I wouldn't of put her back in veg then flower your just stressing her out. Why didn't you just fix her under 12/12? I really don't understand.... Pics?

IMAG0146.jpgI posted on here last week n that was the advice I was given mate , this is my first grow so I took the advice ill post a before n after pics here I was transplanting n a balm of roots got torn off n my little band dropped n turned a lot yellow so I asked on here the best course of action was told to go back to veg cycle n to keep the warm cfks n nit to use the daylights n after a week to go back to flower once babe had recovered.

IMHO .... I think it is just stressed out too much. It appears that it is from the bottom going up, therefore has to do with the root system, more that any nute deficiencies. Hard call I think, but let a more seasoned veteran help out here mate.

Best of Luck and I will sub to this thread to see what they say as well as your progress.

Jayedup.. I hope you still look at this post every now and then and sorry in advance if this doesn't reach you.

I had the same problem on my vanilla kush grow... And I can see from the young stalk that this was grown from seed? I had exactly the same problem...but I use coco. This is a clear case of stress...for this to be nitrogen would be very unlikely as your leaves aren't just yellowing they are getting brown, drying and dying. I suggest you follow what helped me out and re pot your plant... She will be fine and it's very easy mate. Get a towel and spread out to save mess.... Squeeze the sides of the pot tightly but not too tight so the medium compresses together and doesnt crumble off..Hold one hand on the stem firmly... And with the other hand tip the plant upside down. Place the plant normal way up and slowly shake and tap from the bottom to clear the root system as much as possible from the soil and make sure the bottom roots don't dangle too much because this will cause stress.... You can re plant in the same pot... But get some bat guano..preferably mexican with a nice nitrogen to pk level... Add in 20% perlite from your local garden shop and mix that baby up.... Make a hole half way down and simply place your baby right back in then lightly pat down and cover.... This will bring her back to life pretty much immediately... I hope that helps!

Thx so much guys the bottom leafs (the yellow n Brown ones) where ones I was trying to save after the mag diff i lost 4 sets due to it n that set at NDA bottom had a little green left in them once mag diff was fixed n I thought they might survuve. The yellowing has stopped the lighter green leafs where almost white 2 days ago n have steadily regained there greenness last couple if days so there going from yellow to green not the other way round. Both pics are of the same plant just 2 days difference in time yellow looking is the older puc the more green is a pic from this morning so its actually improved greatly.
My question is should I put it back into flower after a week or should i wait a month like I read on a diff blog to start again ? :$
Thx again guys for helping a total an utter noob like me :)

Put back after one week jaye they will inevitably get a bit of stress but the long dark periods help them recover.

Don't snip them off mate, consider them suicide leaves... They will take up alllll of that bad stuff and leave all the good stuff for the restock the plant, they will fall off when ready

Where did I learn this? It's a weed plant. Thats what they do?? When the leaves are ready to fall they will fall... They will continue to take up everything the rest of the plant takes up and when they are ready they will fall.... Some people say it's better to cut off the lower branches for health and bud purposes... Nevertheless it is a weed plant above everything else.. And the reason they grow so aggressively is because the plant works together to flush out the shit as much as possible. Fact.

I would give you example pics buy I'm on my iPad so can't upload. I will only quote on things I know about and from previous similar experiences I can tell you when the damage is there... Let it ride it out. Don't try and simply pick it off. Lol. Cool mate, and good luck! A few days into pre flowering will not of messed with their patterns too much dont worry about it at all.

I agree with you spex but if he was to replant might swell add a bit of bat guano and perlite to the medium just to boost it's overall grow. But if he has already done the alter then what's done is done... Hes only option now is to hope that the plant isn't too stressed... But I am sure it will be fine.

As long as it's only small fizzy hairs it will do what it has to do to match your lighting hours. Can I ask jaye... Do you use a co2 generator or anything like that? What's your setup ...
