i am 5 weeks into my first grow and in about 2 or 3 weeks i will be going into flowering. right now i am using dyna grow and when i go to flowering i will be using dyna bloom. my question is when i go into flowering do i need just to empty my res and when i fill it up just do not put any dyna grow in there and just use the dyna bloom? or do i need to still use the dyna grow along with the dyna bloom? and how tall should i let the plants get before i go into the flowering?

i have no experiance with dyna grow or bloom. as far as when to switch from veg to flower- whenever you want. some people veg for 4 weeks, some veg for 8. grow big or go home!

This would depend on the strain you're growing and your grow space/lighting situation. If it's a Sativa dominant strain, you need to flower it asap because it's gonna get huge - double or triple in height during the first few weeks of 12/12.

i dont know what strain it is i got some bag seeds for this one because it is my first grow and i did not want to waste money on seeds and kill them.

Indoors you can really flower at like 5 inches from seedlings and can flower clones as soon as they take root. You'll have a couple weeks of growth time before it shows flowers so don't worry about trying to get them big before you switch over to 12/12. The plant will grow to fill up your space if you treat it right :P I've got a strain we've been working on for a while that we flower as soon as the roots take on clones and it fills up the closet with NO VEG TIME. It takes a while for my strain to show flowers so we get great growth waiting for flowers to pop.

ok, thanks i just changed the res last week and i chnge it every 4 days so once the 14 days are up on this res i might go ahead and start flowering. so should i swith straight to bloom and no grow nutes at all or should i slowly fade out the grow and introduce the bloom?

I had a few plants that I vegged for 4-5 weeks, only after 30 days flowering 3-4 of them are 7-8 feet tall!!
They grow big and hydro makes it bigger and faster.
I would recommend 1-3 weeks vegging max..

just simply change the nutes to bloom.. but water them a couple of times with pure water then introduce the bloom, thats what i do.

You probably don't even need to give it bloom nutes yet since it'll be atleast another nute cycle before there will be flowers. It's not a light switch so you don't start budding as soon as it goes to 12/12.

so maybe go with straight water for two days and then indroduce the bloom????and when i introduce the bloom should i go full strength?

i guess i will switch to flowering tommorrow....so you think i should not introduce the bloom yet...so should i still use the grow or just use straight water???????

Use your regular nutes and switch over to bloom nutes as it starts showing flowers. No need to really pump heavy P until it's flowering. You probably won't follow exact feeding schedules on the labels until you have your strain's timing on lock.
