Gonna Start a Stealth Grow

I am going to start my stealth grow in my shed. The two rubbermaid containers stack ontop of each other sounds like the best bet to me, since their is going to be alot of other containers around it. Now i have some questions I need answer befor I start this so I am clear on what i am doing.

*what kind of lighting should I use?
* Should I have an intake and exhaust?(was thinking of two computer fans)
*Would It work if i just had an exhaust, and cut holes in the top of the lid and let gravity push air into it?
* Would It be a good idea to make a door at the bottom to have access to the bottom of the plant easier?
* Should I line the inside with reflecting material?
*how many plants could I do at one time?
and last but not least it their a way to Winterize this project?

CFL'S if its gonna be outside in a shed.

If ur growing in a shed outside u will still need ventalation, an intake at the bottom and an exhaust at the top.

*Would It work if i just had an exhaust, and cut holes in the top of the lid and let gravity push air into it?

Not sure. but plants need new fresh air coming into the space.

Of course!!!

* Should I line the inside with reflecting material?

Yes. flat white paint or mylar.

*how many plants could I do at one time?

Depends on how big ur set-ups gonna be remember ur only gonna use cfl's, these maybe ok for veggin but not really that good for flowering.

Is their a way to Winterize this project?

Mmmm im think insulation, polythene, sealants, maybe more. don't knoe the extent of the set-up u want.

Hope this helps.

there only good really for flowering. there cheap to run, not alot of heat gathered. not huge buds!

Go to search at the top of the page and type cfl, cfl grows etc.. u will find lots of peoples grows using cfl's

and those are good for the veg stage as well?
You will want to get the "cool white" CFLs for veg, and the "warm white" CFLs for flowering. You should get the ones that are at least 30watt or more. You can find them at Lowes or Home Depot, even the grocery stores (tho selection will be slim). Also pick up some work-lamp fixtures which will include the socket, and reflector for the bulb.

I just bought the following, some input would be appreciated
*2 totes, once assembled their demensions are gonna be 2'9" tall 15" wide 25" long(will that be enough space?)
*Bought 2 CFLS at 2850 Lumens, 150watts
*white paint, have sprayed on first coat of primer
* a socket feeding out two ways..45degrees tothe left and right
*two 4" fans, very quiet, i think think they will do a great job.

now I gotta figure out, what method of growing i am going to do. I am thinkin a soil grow?
I was thinking of growing 2 plants, would this be a effient system for two plants?

Are you planning on to go into all that for two plants?
You should invest in more lights and a way to get rid of your odors when they flower.

I have mounted the intake at the bottom, and the exhast at the top zap straped them down looks very clean. I pluged the lights in they fit perfectly, lights up the container very well.
what kinda grow should I do? with that little space. 3 or 4?
how often should I keep the ventalation going for? 24/7?
pics comming once Its 100% complete

Well that depends on what strain of marijuana you are planning to grow.

Do you know which strain you are growing?

"Sugar Shack - Prairie Pride
"It looks like it's been dipped in sugar." For the last 7 years this strain has caught the attention of connoisseurs across Western Canada. Thick dense buds and a distinct "floral" flavor are the trademarks of this strain. Strictly indoors, this strain can be manipulated for any grow room. Short and stout or tall and bushy."

Since you could control how it would grow, you definitely have more space for more plants.

Um dont you mean matte white paint? whats flat white paint?

Couldn't agree more Potroast, the difference between mylar and flat, matt white paint is about 5-10% reflectivity and what a lot of people forget is that mylar also reflects heat, whereas white paint absorbs some of the heat, so it's easier to keep temperatures under control. Add in that very few people actually use mylar correctly (needs to be absolutely flat to maximise reflectivity, so many peoples are crinkled) that white paint would reflect more light anyway as well as saving them money!
Maybe this would help?

"Primer is a great way to ensure a smooth finish. Primer is different than paint. It is meant to fill in any rough spots to create a smooth even surface on which to paint. It also creates a barrier so less paint is absorbed into the wall so the paint adheres to a primed wall better."

K i got the totes painted, the intake fan in, now I am stuck on where to locate the exhaust? I was thinking directly above it like 2 feet? think the totes would get proper ventalation with that setup?
