Gonna start flowering in 90-95 degree closet.....

So this is my first grow.... pics are purple maroc (green pot 4 weeks old) and blue widow (blue pot 2 1/2 weeks old).

I was just wondering what would happen if I started to flower in this 90-95 degree temp? I really have no way of cooling the closet down, that's just the way its gonna be in there.

looking forward to hearing the answer u get on this,my closet ranges from 90 with doors open to 100 with doors closed so im in the same situation as u

That's bad for almost all pot but you got to do what u can with what you got.It will effect all aspects of your growing as the plants will suffer from heat stress all the time, could work??

Just a thought, get a couple large water bottles and freeze them, put in closet with small computer fan, gentle breeze makes it last longer.

hows your ventilation? if youve got good ventilation you'll be fine. My grow regularly hits temps in the 90-95 range during the summer and my plants do as well as they do with cooler temps.

I got a fan blowing through the 400 watt hps i got in there and a regular oscillating fan also. I opened up the top part of the closet that leads up to the attic so that the hot air doesn't get trapped in the there. Do you think that would suffice? The temps may rise a little bit in the next coming months also. I also keep the closet cracked open to let fresh air in, along with a curtain draped over the door so no light gets in only air.

you should suck air out of the hps into the attic and get another fan to suck air out of the grow area. its only 2 circle cuts, keep the pieces and you can easily put it back together when you stop growing. just get the stuff to fix holes in drywall and let it dry then sand off any excess till its smooth and then paint over it, no one will be able to tell. anything over 95 has the potential to cause problems in my experience and i try to keep it under 95 at all times. you might have to do what i do in summer and take the vegging plants to 18/6 so the lights are off for the 6 hours of the day that are hottest, 10 am-4 pm is when mine are off in summer. For flowering have the 12 hrs of light be at night when its nice and cooler outside, 10 am-10 pm off when flowering myself.

I had a terrible summer, heat was too much and I think I should have given dynagro Protekt, that's my plan for this summer. It's supposed to be a very good supply of silica which is for strengthening the plants cells and this will give it resistance to heat.

keep airflow good as stated, also when the plants get bigger (canopy fills out the space) their transpiring will cool the area quite abit.
