I'm saying good-bye to dirt forever. I have set up my bubble-ponics system, it's a homemade system from a 17-gallon container I have 10 seedlings in 3.75" net pots with peat chips and hydroton. four have sprouted and were planted a week ago the other 6 were planted today. I am using botanics pro grow veg. the water is ph'ed at 6.5 and the plants are on the pro grow feeding schedule. my tds meter is on its way soon. the plants are to be veg'd under 8 24 watt cfls with a 3500k specturm. they will flower under a 400w hps as soon as the last dirt grow comes to a close. pics of the setup are coming soon. the seeds are bagseed from a mid-grade popcorn. and one sweet island skunk. wish me luck.

I have had better luck it seems with seedlings I germinate as opposed to put in peat chips I think that is a user error I should cover the pots before they sprout, that is ok. the girls in dirt are taking longer than expected so I am going to just veg these untill they are done. I have six sprouts now out of an available ten. the taller plants are on the side with the higher lights. the taller ones are about 6" tall now I am using full strength nutes in the tank I am worried a bit about a high hermie and male ratio for the sprouts if I over fertilize them, but I have decided that If I get just one female I can make her a mommy and clone her like a whore. a mild two week set back, but still god speed faster than dirt. the point to this grow is more about filling the clonebox with thriving female clones and not so much the first harvest. but I hope for the best out of that little skunk seed it would be nice to start with something I enjoy to smoke. i have taken pictures but without my wife I dont know how to get them from my phone to here..... he he women are so genius.

i think about a week on one of the girls in dirt the others are having a ph problem and have been set back a bit
