Good Day Growers--Need Your Sage Advice Yet Again

Dear Friends: Here it is another time to harvest, but never have I experienced a season that was so long--perhaps the strain of the weed, which I have no idea what it is--bag seed and in the pics below there are two plants together out of the same bag that look totally different. I call the one on the right flopsy because those big ol' fan leaves make me laugh--Anyway, there are a couple of bud shots as well as whole plant shots and if someone can please give me an approximation when I can pull these babies and hopefully have something to smoke before the frost flies! I'm in the Northeast part of the country and it's getting cold fast but has not yet hit freezing in the evenings, but those days are coming fast. Regardless, I'm thinking of yanking them the first of October, can someone please let me know if that will be enough time for the plants to mature. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post and offer some advice--always appreciated!!!

Hi Twisted--thanks for the comment--I hope I have a few more weeks--three may have to be it! Yeah, Flopsy is a riot! She's not that tall or fat though, just strange leaf growth--thanks again,

Wow looking at some other posts--another dude--is worried about frost now too! This is obviously common this time of year. I'm in Pennsylvania near Ohio and it's been in the 40s at night. I'm going to watch the temperatures and it at soon as the temps hit about 35 at night I'm taking them out of the ground--I'm pray to God the great Mother and whoever else is out there listening to my prayers to just let the plants mature before the harvest--keep your fingers crossed for me RIU community--and thanks again for all your help and posts!

yeah i posted about frost earlier, if they arent that tall just bag em at night.

im curious if the frost will ruin the buds or just make you have to harvest early.

Hi Matt--yes I saw your post and I feel you. I'm going through the same dilemma. You know the plants are coming along I figure another three weeks will be right around when the weather at night is going to be cold that I will have no choice but to yank them. I don't even want to let them hang out on even one frosty night because I think it will damage yield, potency, etc..., but, again, I might be wrong--never had to deal with this situation. If nothing else we are learning a lot--like a learn all my lessons, the hard way :(

i have left mine outside uncovered, we have had a mild frost but they seem to be doing fine, im feeding them a strong dose of MG bloom booster, its a 10-52-10 ( i got it at wall mart for 5 bucks) it comes with a measuring spoon one side is large other is small, i just upped them to 2 of the small spoonfulls to 1 gal of water. since i started the bloom booster the bud production has increased drasticly. i plan on feeding mine 1 more good dose in about 4-5 days then flush 4-5 days later and let em sit till the frost gets too heavy. i will cover them if it is predicted to get below 28°F

im in the same boat, have learned many lessons this season the hard way, but RIU has been here to help me along the way and there are some good folks here that are helpfull.

best of luck man :)
