Good few questions on autos....

Hi guys
I want to give autos a try properly, i ran 3 before under some whack chinese broken led light and pulled about 14g of each, usually run phenos in hydro (dwc) but last run hermied on me and i was pissee, currently have a Sea of green on but out of 64 plants i now have 27 left...once again hermied (no light leaks etc, just hermie prone strain i guess?)

Just curious on how well the autos do?
How close to the "seed to harvest" is really true?
How prone to turning hermie are they?
How well do they yield?
How do they react to topping (i know people have mixed opinions on this)
How good are they for sea of green style?
I'm looking at using BSB GENETICS sweet tooth strain, anyone have any experience with this?

I will be runningn 2x600w hps dual spectrum
1 x 1150w gavita pro de
Dripper system
3.8L rhizo pots (start to finish)
Biobizz all mix soil (went organic on last run and have 5 50l bags left over) so will use the nutes in the soil to run the veg (2/3weeks) then i will add shogun terra bloom along side rock resinator.

You need bigger pots... 5 gal minimum if you want a decent harvest. Run your lights near nonstop if you want large yields.
I've ran 20/25L pots before and there's not enough veg time to fill them out properly for full rootmass, waste of money and soil imo.
I've ran 3.8L before and pulled 5oz per plant, ran 11L before in coco and pulled 12z per plant.

12 oz's per auto? That is something i have never seen here before

I usually pull 5.5-6 oz per plant on the autos I run in 5gln pots. Tried them in 3 gobs before and was almost always just half the yield. Depends on strain on yield is well.

Never had them herm from pruning. I don’t top so have to get someone else’s opinion on that one but just lst by bending over and tieing them down

You ever come across the Christmas tree structure? I just read a breeder's description recommending against topping if you got that pheno for whatever strain it was (I can't recall).

I thought that shape was from not training the plant (and genetics to a degree) and was less desirable due to uneven canopy.

As soon as I think I know something lol

The Christmas tree shape is the natural growth shape of a cannabis plant.
