So i had a successful indoor grow last year and wanted a biger yield this go round of course ( was 23g 2 plants small i no ) thats why i decided 2 start indoor for about 2 weeks and put them outdoor...well they about 3-4 days from sprout and ive done my far share of reading but never really read anything on if it was ok or the right thing to do "force showing of male or female b-4 putting outdoor" becuz of course putting them outdoor in may will be veg stage while i forced flower causing re-veg...GOOD IDEA OR NO??? MORE PROBLEMS THEN WHATS ITS WORTH??? jus didnt wanna waste time and effort on the pesky males lmao

confusing the hell out of your poor plant is most likely going to cause it to hermie or worse just turn male. You can control the environment and create conditions that are most likely to create females. unfortunately one of the conditions is a 24 hour light schedule but I suppose you could start them out on 24 hrs then slowly work your way to 18 on 6 off schedule. A plant started from seed depending where it came from could go either way until it starts to show sex but the environment can influence the outcome. like humidity, light spectrum, nutes (NPK), light schedule, ect. The time to reverse from flowering is usually 2 weeks or more. So in my opinion this is a double edge sword and would rather start growing 3 months in advance under 18/6 light schedule, figure out what they are first, then take clones off females two weeks ahead of time then put them outside.

no dont put plants into 12/12 then re-vegg them ever. its very stressful for a plant to work backwards in light cycles. the most common side effect of a re-vegg is hermaphrodites. take a few clones to determine sex i.e (label outdoor plants to clones that are still inside) colored garden tape works great. hit tyhe clones with 12/12 as soon as they hav a root system. as soon as they show sex (the clones) then you will know the sex of the plant they came from.

hope that helps. peace!

Also if your seedlings are only 2 weeks old, you will be waiting another 4-6 weeks before they are even mature enough to be sexed.

A plant is either Male or Female... from seed... you can not "force it", or "Stress it" to turn into a male...
Hermie yes... if it's a Male, it's a male...
Female it's a female... Stress of plant, changing light schedules, you could trick it into being a Hermie...
Wait ...
Leave plants in 18/6...
At around 5-6 weeks find a lower branch with double opposite nodes, and clone it... 24/0 or 18/6 for a week, then into 12/12 ...plant will show sex between 6 and 20 days...
Can you wait 7-8 more weeks ? That's what you need to ask yourself....
Good Luck...
