Hey guys

Made my own 60 site aeroponic system but i am getting leaks in between the grommet and 1/4 tube. i have siliconed it but it still leaks when the pressure is high when the pump is on.

does anyone know of a good way to solve this? maybe some leak stopper or some thing

thanks

Only problem is the pipe is only 3/4 so we can't get inside. It has to be something like silicon or like a line-x spray would be best

ok guys, i really need some help here. Today I went to lowes and bought waterproof tape, started with tape that is rubber almost like a grip to a tennis racket but that didnt work its still leaking. So without taking everything apart and switching to a smaller diameter PVC pipe to run the middle, what can i do?

i was looking at things like http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-82099-Spray-Seal-Repair/dp/B0018PW15I/ref=pd_sim_hi_1

but i think i might need to try like this http://www.amazon.com/J-B-Weld-8277-Water/dp/B000BRQ0TW/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_text_c

any help is greatly appreciated, i need to get this done ASAP as the clones need to go into the aeroponic system to flower ASAP!

if i was you i would use some jb weld. its only like 5 dollars at wal-mart in the auto part. You just have to let it sit over night to make sure it gets nice and hard. Hope that helped.

my first idea would be go to your local petsmart and see what they have for fish aquariums and the like.. i'm sure if anyone has what you're after it would be a place like petsmart or any other fish store..

you have a real problem.
this stuff welds upvc plastic together in ten minutes, i warn you it actually melts it together so be careful, it only melts it a little on the surface so no damage occurs. once sealed the joints are always solid.
i am sure you will get it in the u.s. too somewhere.

the plastic must be upvc or it wont work.
flip over to a plumbing forum you will get better answers there and take a picture of the leak.
they will tell you exactly what to do.
in the meantime repair the leak as best you can wrap a cloth round it to stop any high pressure spray and put a bucket under the cloth to catch the dripping leaks from the cloth while you are trying to get a fix, your plants will be fine.
