yea dog talk hahaha....ok ive been doing a lot of research on cane corso's,argentine dogo, and just recently looking at presa canario. all pretty big dogs.

for you i'd say, first as stated check with insurance and shit but....id say go with a staffordshire bull terrier. aka nanny dog. great with kids, med. sized, short hair...its like a mini pit bull. i've always wanted one, then started looking at the bigger dogs i mentioned.

oh yea and no such thing as bad breeds....just bad owners!

IMO the German Shepherd(GSD) is the best breed. I have a 2 1/2 yo GSD who is awesome! He is loyal friendly and protective of the family and house. My boy is spoiled he is my kid. I would do anything for him and I'm sure he would do the same. Here he is

Very playful and loves to play frisbee! My boy has some hops! He gets up for the frisbee. I'm so glad to have him! Our first trip to the breeder he was the first one at my feet. The second trip to see him was the same way. He picked me. We were third in line to select a puppy and the breeder said that the first two picks were contemplating picking him and she persuaded them to pick another pup. We drove an hour and a half one way numerous times to see him while we were waiting to be able to take him home at eight weeks old. The breeder could definitley see how much he liked us and how much we loved him! I was hoping we would get him and as fate would have it we did. I never really understood the love that people have for their pets till I got my boy. I'm sure whatever breed you select will be a great choice but I would look at a GSD!

i had a rottie that was jealous of the kid s friends and would never do anything if a grown up was in the room, but on 2 occasions attacked a lil girl, the first time it was a paw to the fce the next time it was a bite to the face. The dog was great with my kids. Dog had to go, gave it to a friend that owned a scrap yard and needed a guard dog.
