Feast or famine, I guess. There's only a few small fires in Colorado right now, so that's below average!
This is our normal pattern. Last year the rain didn't stop, but most of the time it drys out in September. This year it rained practically everyday of June, July and August. It stopped a couple of weeks ago when Dorian passed. Only one shower since.

Georgia is nothing like what you described, especially around the cities.
No one who grew up there would describe it like I did, either- they're used to it. It was only obvious because I came from somewhere else that wasn't so prejudiced.

Soppin wet in Oregon. Which is a very nice anomaly. Often here in the south part we will go into October without rain since June. My one plant is in week 5 of flower so it's not mature enough to worry about budrot.

Atlanta has a gay community that rivals San Francisco.
That's fine. There's still plenty of racism there, just as there is in most parts of the country. Unless things have dramatically changed since I lived in Arkansas, there are still plenty of racists there. Indeed, the results of the last election would lend additional weight to my educated guess on this subject.

Another cool morning. I started the day at 65F. High was 92F. Mid to high 90's for the next 10 days. No rain in sight. News folks are talking fire danger all the time now. A small fire somewhere in the area just about everyday.

34 this morning. We've had cool rainy weather much like November should be. With any luck there will be 2 weeks of more normal highs in the 70s as opposed to the 50s we've had.
