My buddy has agreed to let me get things shipped to his house. Is it a bad idea to use a fake name?

I was planning on getting some prepaid international visa cards to order seeds from attitude and other various parts from online hydro shops.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

That's how I do it. It's never a good idea to have seeds/grow supplies sent to the address where the grow is located. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

weather you use a fake name or not, if they wanna trace and track you they will. a fake name isnt gonna stop them. Cause that card your using would be linked to your real name anyways.

But that's crazy talk, just order with the conscious your using it for tomatoes, and everythings good.

bad idea. if there is any problem with delivery you won't be able to pick up your stuff without the proper name.

Prepaid visa's are not linked to anyone's name. I will purchase them with cash, or am I missing something??

from what i've read of the rare investigations on intercepted seed orders, the law enforcement action is to go to the address
name doesn't seem to be the primary interest, they will come to the delivery address(which is pretty unlikely)
so in my opinion, anything that could cause a delivery problem is your biggest risk
a false name can't be a help in delivery, seems to me to be an added risk

I thought prepaid visas would be linked to customers in some sort of way. I dont have a prepaid , and never have. So I am not sure. I just assumed for certain measures, the card would be linked to a name. Im sure there are alot of things that could go wrong without a name being linked to it. But it is prepaid so, alot of the risk is in the customers hands.

Thanks for the replies fellas! Going with prepaid and legit name, that way he can claim ignorance if something goes wrong.
