Good thing I'm legal. Part 5, or 6 maybe?

I don't think you can let them in your grow by law. If you did you'd be breaking the rules. Depending on how you was to percieve the meaning of "access".

I'm just about to add another 1k light, I hope I don't have any issues... Even though I'm legal i think I would go without cable before I'd let a complete stranger see my set up.
Just check how your cable lines run though the house and stay clear.

That suck man that you have to go through all this. I used to work for charter and I have an electrical degree from a 4 year university so I have quite a bit of knowledge on this. It's not necessarily your ballasts that are the problem its the actual lamp cords causing the issue. How long are your lamp cords? do you have multiple cords hooked together to make it longer?? I'm not exactly sure on what frequency Hz the ballast outputs but from what I can tell it's a very high frequency like 50,000hz or something. Basically what is happening is your lamp cords are acting like big ass antenna's. There are several ways to eliminate this 1) reduce or eliminate your lamp cords. 2) use low frequency ballasts like magnetic or I use the baddass low frequency digital ballasts 100hz. unfortunately the cable company or any utility provider does have the right to deny service if the interference is not taken care of. I actually had to disconnect a lot of peoples service because of this and charter is super anal about interference on the lines they have techs that is all they do is drive around finding leaks on the system and interference

My friend just went through something quite similar.

He has bigtime ham radio guy by him that was picking up interference from his ballast.
He had Galaxy and a Lumitek; both digital.
Changed them to Magnetic ballasts and his neighbor could tell him what day he did the switch.

Grow Green has magnetic ballasts for @$120 for 1000's.
See the reason I bring this up is that if your ballasts are throwing interference
into the power lines rewiring the cable won't really fix all of your problems.
Best to nip the source of the RF in the bud.

Magnetic ballasts are 100% percent shielded - they cannot leak RF if wired properly with good grounding inside.

Wow Marty, I have a shit load of Lumateks. lmao. I am setting up my timer and displaying the view cuz I think a wall of Lumateks is such a beautiful site. lmao. I really want to keep the Lumateks and have bad-ass high-def games, the dvr's, and high-speed internet. It's 2012 hopefully they can figure out something. Fuck I hope so. If anything, I want my cable to install more shit, not take shit away. lmao. That is crazy cheap for ballasts though, wow. It wouldn't have took me a year to get all those. roflmao.

I don't think I am using any of the extension cords for reflectors. I have them, and I have used them. Maybe the back one. lol.

This was exactly the crew that drives around and fixes the houses with grows. lmao. I have talked to like a dozen people today that knew about this. lmao. I never heard of it before. Too funny. So as far as them refusing to come in cuz of grow, that would suck. Up until I realized I was the problem I was pissed about internet service. Too funny. They actually called me to arrange rewire with their grow room guy, I guess. lmao. These fuckers show up in a black suburban and are wearing suits, my internet is fine the way it is. lmao. As far as location, this shit isn't quite in the middle of my bud room, roflmao. But it's in there.

They are supposed to be using some special insulated wire, throughout house. I do not know if it's from hudrofarm, or what. lmao. This shit is going down in a few days. Thread is paid for. I'll post pics of everything. Bet my next pad is redid before the ballasts are hung. I am not too worried about it now. The most surprising thing to me, is that this is common practice. We are in the UP and they have grow room crews. lmao. What!?

magnetics are the only way to grow! I refuse to jump on the digi band wagon lol.

Glad I did a paint job last week on a house that had cameras all over. We had to cover them all, so I apologized for the downtime of the cameras. He laughed and said they were all dummies. $10 each, and they look super real. Maybe a bunch of those around the house will let the cable guys know you have their faces on camera, as a deterrent for any issues down the road, so to speak. I'm going to install them all over the house I grow in.

That is such a good idea. I am looking into real ones. But I will buy dummies for sure. Love that idea!

I have a couple $25 Harbor Freight camera kits that work great. They have color, sound, night vision and they're whether proof! I have them hooked up to my tv in my living room and bedroom.

Quad-shield cable is what they are using to re-wire basement. They are going to do just the cables that are anywhere close to lights/ballasts.
