Good Whipping/Budder technique?

Hey all,

was just hoping someone could give me a quick run down of their fullproof whipping technique...

earlier today i filled a pot with water and placed my bho plate on top of it. It eventually melted down the bho and I whipped it for a while... I then took it off the water and let it harden back up..

if anyone could recommened some improvements to that I'd greatly appreciate it.

The bho ended up coming out pretty nice(I guess?), but its not like an earwax/budder texture..

Also, can anyone recommend a good water pipe attachment for purposes of smoking hash/concentrates?

Spread it out on your pyrex by whipping, or stirring it in circles or zig zags or whatever. your doing this to break up the bubbles and it will eventually harden and should whip up onto your fork. sometimes you may have to scrape it back up into the center and start spreading it out again. Do this with the pyrex plate in warm/hot water

Make sure you are letting it sit on in or on something warm( no flame) after u shoot your butane and make sure u wait a good 10-20 min while u gentley pop the bubbles helps my oil harden.

As far as smoking it goes either a skillet or a dome, i have a dome but perfer skillets. Check out etsy for fancy stuff.
View attachment 2262950this one is the one I use. I want a skillet

Edit: sidenote, wipping it will take out butane and make it less oily and more budder but if you want hard oil, shatter like product, use 125-150 degree water and pop bubbles carefully and try not to scrape oil until final scrape. also make sure you are using good butane I use xikar but power and vector are also good.

I don't whip personally I use a double boiler and poke the bubbles out and very carefully and in large oil patches slowly drag my poker but I try not to mess with it unless there are bubbles. I also let my plate sit on the double boiler for a couple minutes to heat the plate up I think it helps evaporate a lot of butane when you do your extraction. Always bring the hot plate out side though :P no flames and all that stuff but I do like to have the plate hot. I just made some today and its hard as a rock and shatters if I don't use heat I already cracked a huge piece into my couch :0.

I've tried whipping on the warm pyrex tray we use for blasting after a quick wipe down, and thats after vac purging and getting a nice sized amber slab of BHO, but having trouble getting it to fully budder and lighten in color. Probably not heating above like 110ish though during whipping. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
