i really like you set up! i think everything you have purchased is awesome and will end up with a great grow. just make sure you keep the heat down with that 600w because they can cook your girls like a grill! other than that i wish i had your set up when i started so good job sir.

good soil and fertilizer. but is that hood vented so you can hook a fan to it and suck it out side . I think I have the same one in my veg room not air cooled . with a 1000 watt mh in it only used during the winter because it heats up the basement, saves me heating cost. point is you are going to want to get an air cooled hood so you can push the heat out blow a fan into the hood.

It's an agromax tent and I checked today and didn't see any light leaks. It will soon have a ventilation system. A Booster fan bringing in air from the attic and an inline fan exhausting the heat to the attic. Do you think it will be a problem bring air from the attic and exhausting to the attic?? It's a pretty big attic..

Or should I just bring in air from the room outside tent. I have a oscillating fan blowing air around the room and it's temperature controlled being it's a spare bedroom

you need to put the fan on the light sucking the air from the tent . pushing it into the hood cooling the bulb pushing the hot out into the attic . im 100 % correct on this. so blowing into the light. so the fan stays cool and out into the attic

I think it's going to get too hot. Depending on your ambient temperature in the room. Run everything before you put plants in it.

your not correct. It's more efficient to pull air, rather then push it.

make sure if you take your air from the same place you pull it out to put a ac if you can cause in the long run you will make the air get warmer in there just a matter of time

So pull air into the tent and also pull the hot air into the attic correct? Does it have to be directly on the light does that make sense or can I just pool cool air into the tent and pull it out, exhausting into the attic

Ah I get ya but if I pull the air from the outside room I night not need an ac?

It depends on how hot your room is. I tried running a 1000watt in my 5x5 tent without an air cooled hood, and it quickly went up to 110 degrees.

I would try putting your exhaust ducting as close to the light as you can. Maybe get an extra clip fan to blow on the bulb.

It it looks like you have most of your stuff. Set it all up and try it out. That's the only way you'll know for sure.

True good advice. The room is like 70° but I can turn on the ac and just cover up with a blanket in my house haha

I understand what you're saying, trying to get this first grow done before I get an air cooled tube but I'd like to have one. Seems a lot easier

Hm. Or I could move it to the garage where the air is way cooler outside. And could still vent to the same place..

Bit off the heat topic you have all got into but from looking at your list you have a blue lab ph pen i think you should invest in a blue lab truncheon for your ec/cf i wouldnt grow without one.
