what a load of bullshit. they are looking for a monopoly, i bet they even try to keep possession illegal unless you also have a recent receipt from a government controlled store and it is in the original govenment labelled bag. They will never make a dent in the BM with this mentality.
exerpts that prove my point:
- outlines the objectives of the new system for restricted access to marijuana
- Protect public health and safety by strengthening, where appropriate, laws and enforcement measures ...selling outside of the regulatory framework
- Establish and enforce a system of strict production, distribution and sales

Bingo. Truth be told, they don't want to make a dent in the BM.

A key principle for consideration common to all models is whether those growing marijuana should have to pay a licensing fee so that taxpayers are not required to subsidize the full cost of government oversight of the program.
What the fuck are the taxes going to go towards? Spreading false and bad science about the harms?

all the recent dispensary raids were pushed by this group. it will spread to other provinces.
I think that as time goes on people will realize they have been apart of Justin's Ponzi scheme to develop a more restrictive, more controlled system with harsher penalties for those who do not obey. Over the past several months it has been very interesting to see so many people change their view as to what is happening. Some will never figure it out, but for those who do the realization that the WAR AINT OVER will bring new direction hopefully.

To Annie, bill, and friends - enjoy your fantasy, you have already lost, you are to ignorant to know it.

i know you can make thousands of talking points of the harms of tabacco, alcohol and prescription and street drugs with millions of deaths attributed. all they have on MJ is it might cause developmental problems in children and it could cause impairment for drivers. the hypocrisy is astounding.

they didn't say anything and are still on about all these harms.
too bad the guy who called didn't mention some harmful plants that are grown in a lot of home.
we have a Dieffenbachia and i believe that is very toxic if eaten. why is that allowed?
why are we not child proofing everyone's home? I'm sure at some point a child will enter their home. should that child be safe??
geez...I have no kids and the wife's kids are grown so why do i have to look out for them? i pose absolutely no danger whatsoever.
why does this political correctness take away my rights? that's such a crock. you can never please everyone.
why not have some studies and have them find out for themselves. Rona said there were no studies

I have a feeling the medical sides going to get blindsided in August.
I read through Phelan's decision back when he declared the MMPR unconstitutional. I'm pretty sure he said somewhere in it, that the government doesn't necessarily have to allow for home grows, as long as they fix the accessibility issue.

I'm pretty sure the government is going to try and work their way around the home grows, by allowing storefront LPs, and health coverage of your meds.

Dont forget Oregon, bigmanc!

They keep mentioned their goal of preventing normalization, cannabis should and will be more normal than coffee, let alone booze or cigs. They're giving up huge footholds with their war on drugs by legalizing in any fashion, we will continue to overgrow and normalize cannabis as its a part of a healthy and balanced life.

there are 12 or so other states that are presenting ballots this year to legalize recreational cannabis, so the list is going to grow exponentially very shortly :)
