Try it before you laugh.
So your just ignoring everything I just posted and sticking with your epsom salt theory. I understand why anyone would hate Advanced but misleading people to support your own practices isn't a great practice either.

I read the 'Banana Manna' label, and then the MSDS sheet for it. There isn't anything but MKP and a tiny bit of banana flavor in it to justify the ridiculous price increase.

Are you sure you aren't being deluded just a bit by their hyped up claims?

I'm comfortable with where I'm at; I use dry nutrient salts that have absolutely nothing in them that isn't clearly marked on the label. The supplier is local and stands behind his product.

So far, it seems to work okay; I'm only getting two and a half pound plants in my indoor trees setup, but I still have some dialing in to do.

What does your success with salts have anything to do with what I have been saying?

Bud Factor X is a blend of crustaceans that tricks the plant into thinking it is being attacked, and triggers the plants defense system which increases terpenoid production. It is basically the same thing as harpin proteins.

Here is the more detailed ingredients list for Buf Factor X

"Proprietary Blend of Crustations, Magnesium Nitrate,
Glucosime, Proprietary Bloom Enhancing Plant Extract."

and a link to all of Advanced Products detailed ingredients list....

"Proprietary Blend". There is a reason why they don't want to disclose what's in the bottle. Because you're being ripped off.

There is no "proprietary blend" of crustaceans. It's crab shell meal, which contains chitin (which is what triggers the plants immune response) and is very cheap.

You're free to buy whatever you want with your own money though ....

It costs me $1.32 to do a crop of 16 4' tall plants. My asshole is feeling pretty good. Believe what you want, just dont believe and mislead that it is just epsom salt.

EDIT: With my discount it is only 92 cents to treat 16 plants for an entire flower run.

I'm not misleading anyone. The nutrient companies are the ones doing that. As I said, you're free to buy what you wish. 99% of the shit in the hydro stores is complete nonsense, that are made up of basic things that cost a fraction of what you're being charged.

No doubt. But to get up in arms over 92 cents for every 16 plants is pretty funny.

I'm not up in arms. I'm simply pointing out that you're defending a product that is snake oil (regardless of what the price is), and a company that deserves nobody's business.

That's all

I'm defending the fact that it is not just epsom salt. I'm not saying it works or that it is worth the extremely low cost as a foliar spray. Why should I sit back and let people put misinformation out there?

THANK YOU!

Some folks just need a little more convincing, it's okay.

You're going to feel really ripped off when I tell you how cheap dry nutes are, too.

Banana Manna goes for $60 for an 8oz container. Remember, it's MKP and scent. My FIFTY POUND BAG OF MKP cost me...

Wait for it...

$72.50

A fifty pounds bag of Yara Liva brand calcium nitrate is only fifty five bucks. That's enough to last years...

Awesome, again what does that have to do with what I'm saying about a product that is not just epsom salt?

Cost, and that you really should try using an epsom salt foliar head to head with your chosen product. Who knows? You might discover something along the way. When you do, tell us what you found!

I make enough to not worry about it.

That's cool. Does the fact that the owner of the company likes to diddle little kids matter to you?
It is my understanding he is no longer with the company.

So are you a veganic grower? I mean if were going to start getting down to the ethical operations of the fertilizer industry.

I make my own organic soil. "Veganic"? No. I use crab shell meal, and oyster shell flour, but everything else is plant derived. I will be using the leaves from my backyard, along with worm castings I make, and rice hulls as my base moving forward...... so, it's as close to being environmentally friendly as I can manage.

That is really great that you are doing your best to be eco-friendly. Sorry for attempting to generalize you in with the many people that don't put the effort in that you do including myself.

No apology necessary.

There are a million ways to grow this plant, and we all have our reasons for choosing what products we use. I was just throwing it out there that a lot of these bottles are misleading, and can be duplicated for much cheaper. If it works for you, then no need to justify anything to anyone.

That's pretty interesting. As AN is not a public nor american company it's pretty hard to know exactly what's going on with "ownership"/control. That said, Mike moved the company over to Europe to be with Gino & Robert, so will he now be returning the company to Canada  It's honestly hard to believe that Mike would defend these cats so vehemently on international TV and then boot them from the company only months later. I guess the interim "Holiday Heroes" campaign didn't work out as planned ...
