Grandma Gudenhi's Cali. Garden w/PICS

Here is my garden so far. I grow legally in Northern California. Outdoor, all organic. I have been growing for many years. Over the years, I have discovered the more room you give a plant, the bigger and bushier they get. These plants have not been topped. They just bush out naturally.

This was when we planted them on 5/21/09. A late start. We started them indoors around the middle of March. We usually use clones but most were from seed this year. We sexed them before planting in the ground. The two bigger plants, at the front of the pic, are mother plants I got from the neighbor.

This pic is from 6/21/09, They've been in the ground for a month

This was taken on 7/20/09, They really like the Cali. sunshine.

These are the seeds we started with. We got them from Harborside Club in Oaksterdam (Oakland, CA). I was very disappointed in the Granddaddy Purple/Romulan. Only 3 of the 12 germinated and 2 of those were male. Also, out of 7 Kali Brains, only 3 germinated, but all 3 were girls. The Hill Temple Skunk sprouted 7 of 7 and the G13/Hash Plant sprouted 7 of 8. I only plant 12 plants. I got rid of a few of the females and got a few clones so I could have a variety.
FINAL PLANTING:
1- OG/Purple Kush (clone)
3- G13/Hash Plant
2- Kali Brains
1- Granddaddy Purple/Romulan
3- Skunk IBL
1- Huckleberry (was a mother plant)
1- Romulan (also was a mother)

THE SEEDS

wow those are MONSTERS! your gonna have lbs
Last year most of my plants were 3+ pounds. Three were around 5 pounds each. Most of my garden goes to other patients.
Here is a 3.5 pound pile of Candy Shiva. It was all from one plant. This wasn't even the entire plant. We left the popcorn buds growing. There was over a pound from that. The whole bottom part of the plant went to another patient.

i cant even look at that without being extremely jealous of your patents or people who live in calli.

I thought we has security taken care of. We got up the other morning and some damn turkey from around the corner was parading around in our garden! Our watchcat, Li`l Runt, was keeping a good eye on him.

The turkey didn't do any damage to the plants. Actually, I think he was eating grasshoppers, which is a good thing.

Two of my plants were mothers that I got from my neighbor. They have been topped many times for clones. They are bigger because they started bigger but I'm still going to try and judge the difference it makes when topped many times. Our plants always bush out like crazy anyway but if topping makes more, I'll do it next season for sure .

lol, thanks. As I watch my plants grow, the ones that used to be mothers (topped alot) are definately growing different. One is quite a bit bushier. The other is way thick but only like 3' tall.

PIC UPDATES:
This is our tallest of 2 Kali Brains. My b/f is holding a 4' level in the pic. If you include the spikes jutting out from the top, she's about 7' tall.

-----------------------------------------------------
This is our Skunk runt. We experimented and planted it deep, like you would tomatoes. Not a good idea.

-------------------------------------------------------
Most of our plants are 5.5' to 6.5' tall.

---------------------------------------------------
This is the 3' tall by 5' wide Huckleberry. She used to be a mother plant and was topped many times. She was the first to flower about 3 weeks ago. She smells soooo sweet.

--------------------------------------------------
My Skunks seem to be the smallest strain but I like their bud pattern. Looks like their going to be big thick stalks.

-------------------------------------------------
Pumpkins in a Pot Patch (for your amusement)

This G13/Hash Plant is about two foot taller the the other two G13/HPs and most of the other plants. I don't know why it got so big (or the others stayed so short?).

Skunk/IBL This pic is from about 2 1/2 weeks after it got it's "two hairs". I don't know when they consider the start of flowering to be.

Hey, G~Maw!
Great grow!
I'd like to see the end!

How was your Huckleberry?
They do flower early and tend to be pretty stout even if their not mothers.

Thanks for sharing!
