Grow them out to be 50-60 cm, then flower, you should be fine vertically

Plus, with 800w, you shouldnt have to worry about stretching because plants only stretch when they are looking for light

Day 17

Temp - 23.0 degrees C
Humidity - 65 %
Water ph - 6.5
Lighting - 18/6

Well our plants really responded well to the canna, they definitly look like they could handle more. We gave our thai haze a quick water, the gr8 white and lemon skunk are looking so much bushier and better now. I really think the thai haze is sativa dominant. Im not really to worried tho, we are probably going to remove them from the grow room and give them to a few friends or something.

We are now at the stage were we are considering which yield increasing techniques we will try. We were quite keen on lst, but I would love to know all your views....

Yeah about that ill have a look later when the lights come on.

Im giving away my thai haze, so I will have more room for my great white and lemon skunk. I was thinking of doing an experiment like leave 1 or 2 untouched, top 2, fim 1 or 2, and lst 2 or 3. What do u think? Any other methods I should try?

Also, Im thinking of taking clones and just putting them in with these plants, is that a good idea? I realise they wont get as big but it will mean more bud... But most importantly will it harm my plants if I take cuttings soon? Prob just one on a few plants??

Day 18

Temp - 21.8 degrees C
Humidity - 62 %
Lighting - 18/6

Theyre looking really great. Must really love the light being closer, cos they are really growing now. I see so much change every day. We are deciding on which methods of increasing yield to use. We were thinking of mixing it up with 2 left alone (as a control), 2 topped, 2 fimmed, and 2 lst. What do you think?

Also is it every water I give them nutes or every second or what?

Check out the thickness of the stem? Is this normal? I think it looks awesome.... ha ha fuk Im loving this grow... I think Im hooked for life.

Yeah I really love this strain, so thick and bushy. Have you grown it before? Do you use any yield increasing techniques... if so what?

Day 19

Temp - 22.8 degrees C
Humidity - 62 %
Lighting - 18/6
Water - 1 litre per plant.

Today I began the first phase of my yield increasing hopes. I decided to go with a mixed bag. 2 x LST, 2 x Topped, 2 x Fimmed and 2 left alone. I am quite keen to see the difference between each technique.

I have tied down Pac (lemon skunk) and Puff (great white), Ivory (gw) and Biggie (gw) were topped. I have left Magic, dragon (gw), Shaggy and Jay (LS) for now. 2 will be fimmed at a later stage and 2 will be left alone.

At what stage in the growth would you suggest to fim?

How much longer should I veg for?

I didnt give them any nutes this time, but will do next water.

I have tried fim'n and i didnt like it, topping has the some goal(2main colas) and its much easier

As for how much longer to veg, you have to ask these qeustions
1) How much vertical space you have
2) How much time do you have
3) How much do you want to yeild

They look really good, keep it up

i tried the fim technique and i turned out with two main colas than another cola with braches coming off it. i will try it again!

Crippledguy, when did you fim? Mine are 3 weeks... should I do it now or wait?

Beta, I have a 1.6m grow room. So with the lights in there the plants can be 1.3m (just over 4 foot). Im pretty keen to have them done for xmas. Yield? I want to yield as much as I can.... I dunno really, its my first grow.
