Hey so about 2 months ago i found several seeds in some "Medicine" i got from a club, so i decided i would plant a few of em and see how it went. now i have a female plant about 14 inches tall which has just entered the flowering stage and is starting to show pistils. i have not done anything to it besides water it, and keep it under a florescent light in our changing room/closet. i did not want to invest any money in to it not knowing if it would be female or male. now that i am almost sure it is female and will know for sure within a few days. i plan on buying lights a larger pot and some fertilizer. Ill let you know how it goes.

So i decided that im gonna invest in the cheapest HPS light system i can find just to give my plant a little of the right spectrum during the flowering stage. I know 150 watts is not ideal, and niether is the light i have selected however i am on a budget. so i will accompany the HPS light with a couple Fluorescent lights. I still need a larger pot and some soil... (Do i have to use the same soil, or is it ok to get new soil?) I will transplant this one as soon as possible... When is the proper time to clone?

You can use the same soil or buy some other stuff it really doesnt matter, And also you are going to want to clone before you put it into flower

so if theres still anyone out there, i am now in week six of flowering, the plant is pretty weak... i vegged it under 2 32 watt fluoro tubes in our... "changing room" i guess it would be... i didnt even have any mylar till flowering... im only gonna get like 10-12 grams off of it, but it was a good practice. i have read a lot and am now very confident that i will gat a good amount of bud in my next grow... I have ordered 5 feminized lowryder #2s i will grow them under a 150 watt HPS and supplamental CFL lighting in my 4x2x4 closet grow room lined with mylar emergency blankets. i promise it will be much more interesting than this one! any comments for me in preperation for my LR2 grow are welcome and appreciated. i have already mixed the soil it is 3 parts organic potting soil( i forget the brand but its nothing special just has a little kelp meal, and worm castings) 1 part miricle grow perlite, 1 part worm castings, then i added a half cup of fish emulsion and a cup of bone meal.

its really stretching it looks like and the stem doesnt look strong at all i would bring more light and closer to it and put a fan on it to make the stem stronger
