Hey there in RIU land, thought i would do a report on the jack herer (ghsc) i grew outdoors recently.

I got the seeds from a friend for helping him with ordering seeds from the net (he didn't believe you could do it and get them into australia, he was wrong)

I personally would not have chosen this strain but thought i would grow it outdoors so if it was shit then i wouldn't have wasted to much money on it. well i was pleasantly surprised.............

I know the ghsc jack isnt the "real" jack, This one having a very indica growth structure, both seeds come up very uniform and both had no hermies what so ever.

with the indica growth i was expecting a very couchlock stone but i was also surprised there too, now on with the report.

Strain: (GHSC) Jack Herer

Growth: leaning towards indica (short and stocky) but with long buds all the way up the stems and lots of growth tips

Nutes: Proganics (organicly based ferts from Bunnings in aus) it was great!!

Yield: 22 ounces from both plants both very even one half ounce more than the other (dry weight)

Bag Appeal: pretty good for outdoor, fairly tight buds and loads of resin. lots of orange to brown hairs

Smell: I have a broken nose and cant smell to well so to me it smells like everything else haha. my mrs said a very lemon smell while growing. now its been in the jars for 3 weeks she said a very sweet smell almost skunky.

Taste: like weed.........(smoke thought a dirty bong)

The High: heres where i was surprised, was expecting to be glued to the chair. but its a very functioning stone. its a very slow creeper so wait after every bong. it starts in the head and relaxes the body but i still get shit done, it gives me major china eyes though. Im really enjoying this weed atm. my mate just pulled hes indoor local crop and bought two ounces of mine cuss it blows his away.

Comments: Very enjoyable, i really do think all the green house haters would be surprised by how well this performs.

Yeah its a great high. And the fact its a creeper has caught me out on more than one occasion. Haha

How does it go indoors? IM considering gettn more for my 400w this winter. Much stretch?

Well I grow mine under 400s and I just switched to cmh so it got better. But ultinately with jack herer, or most sativas they take a lot of light to produce very well. The smoke is great but the yield under 400s isn't worth growin more than for personal use.

However, I have a 7 headed fimd, lstd, supercropped jack herer that takes a whole 400 w to herself lol. I've managed to open her up and expose a lot more bud sites to direct light. These plants actually love to be bent and trained. I'm thinking I'm going to massivley beat my previous yields with this one.

So outdoors would be best but you can definately grow them indoors but I would stray from going single cola since they do stretch a bit. Under my cmh they stretched the least compared to hps. The stretch isn't horrible tho.
