Hello all!

Is it true that a green light (normal incandescent) will not affect the plant in the night cycle while flowering...?

I have a green light bulb in a shop flashlight that you can hang...

the pigments chlorophyll a and b (and i think beta carotene and all the xanthophylls too) dont pick up green on the spectrum. but u need like a painted green bulb, not a soft green cfl or anything. also i dunno if id risk it - the green cfl's you're talking about are either growing or general lighting, but either way they emit a certain spectrum that the lights will pick up. the light ITSELF has to be green, not a bright light green.
