green stuff on roots?

i was transplanting my plants earlier today, and one of the smaller ones had green stuff on one side of the roots. im thinking its an algae of some kind maybe? do you think its bad for the plant? i havent noticed any problems with her and idk how long she has had this.

thoughts?

Hej babe, yes your right, its probably an algae ov some sort... And no, i dont think its harmfull to the plant. It could be a type ov slime mold or possibly pond weed which is a filimental mold. Are you growing in hydro or outside?
If outside, dont worry as the air is full ov mold and fungi spores anyway. If in hydro then make sure you change your water tank regularily to ensure the slime doesnt build up and block your pump and or tubes!!! No one likes blocked tubes!!!

If it concerns you, take something impervious to light and cover the top of the bucket, algae needs light and moisture.

hmm the only non black pot has the algae. this one was red. so i think the light was able to go through it. its now in a black pot, so hopefully it will go away
