ok so can we grow out side if it is enclosed. I think this spring I want to VEG my plants under the SUN, than when i flower them I will take them inside.

I dont really want to break any state laws tho.

When it gets hot out I would never beable to keep my whole room cool. I got A/C but it anit enough to cool a 2000 watt room when it is 80-90 outside.

veg room 1000w
flower room 1000w.

but if i vegged out side I could make my flower room 1500w and beable to keep it cool all summer.

Sure would love to know the cost and work to maintain a greenhouse. I just figure that would be one big ass bullseye for LEO's and the little bastards that run around stealing crops. lol

The MI Supreme Court will be ruling on that next week probably...

It all depends on your location and how leo's want to interpret the law. If it is in a cage with a roof and a locked door and "secure" it is legal, however people have been raided that were within those specifications..

I have Helicopters flying around looking for crops. so I would not even think of budding them outside, just veg them. it will save money on LIGHTS, A/C,

And in the fall time, the green house will be all vegitbles, and no cannabis.

It is every year, i find my self hearing alot of nosie, and i walk into my back yard and wave at the State police helicopter that is huvering in my back yard......... so I am not going to BUD anything outside, because they WILL see it.

they fly helis around me every year. I guess i am in a bad area for outdoor stuff

P.S. I live in the Natinal forest, next to the sign that says, "This area is pattled by aircraft" and they enforce that pretty good

They don't act like they arent' going to harass us. One good question to them bastards is this. "Have you guys ever found a meth lab using the helicopters? Or are you spending all of that money strictly to bust medical marijuana patients?" Maybe then they will start issuing fake Amber Alerts then they are just up there ever fall looking for missing children. lol

10'x10'x10' is the size i am thinking. I dont really even need that much room, but I could put my veggies in there. I could grow the plants big. and than use all my lights in the flower room. :) I aam also doing 2 x 1/4 acre veggie gardens. tomato's,peppers, punkins, corn, lettus, what everelse i decide i like.

I am kinda a extream addrenaline junkie, and I need a hobby that anit so exteamly dangerous. I already have more metal in my body than your car dose. so if I keep my mind on growing fruits/veggies/cannabis I mite not be bored and endup doing dangous stuff.....

Hopefully in a few years you can put plants in your garden and you can make them spell 'LEGAL' to the helicopters above. That would be some cool crop circle shit there.

Gladstone, and all,
If you're interested in greenhouse growing, and all the associated costs, etc. drop me a PM. My family (me included) own a nursery and have been growing all kinds of shit in them for years. Happy to help anyone!

There was a legal cardholder that had his allowed number of plants enclosed in a fenced, locked garden. The cops showed up when he wasn't home, and tore down everything. I know he was found innocent, but he still lost all his meds.

I believe in this case the neighbor and he didn't get along and the guy called the cops on him though. Bastards could have at least waited for him to come home and show him his card.

So anyone considering any type of "locked enclosed" greenhouse grows this summer? Overall it seems they are (for the most part- lol) legal. How about a modified stealth garden shed w venting and a translucent roof? A real substantial greenhouse would be amazing.

I have seen several styles (well let me say a few anyway). At Skandia truss they have a nice shed, with a clear (probably plexy-glass) roof. I cannot pull nothing like that off this year. If I stay here though, I think I will have to make it happen. I cannot believe it is almost June already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my friends did last year without any issues... He had a metal fence on all 4 sides and also over the top.

I'd rather grow indoors where I can control Temperature, Humidity, Bugs, and my neighbors. It also doesn't rain in my grow room.

a good greenhouse allows you to do all those things as well. Of course at a higher expense. I have both going now and gotta say, plants grow soo much quicker under the sun then artificial light

Really? I'm surprised to hear you say that. I was under the impression that a HID would finish up a plant quicker than being outside under the sun.

Learned something new today!

I am having trouble with this one. Or I cannot fathom a U.P. greenhouse outperforming my basement anyway. I bought greenhouse weed from more than one source last year and that is the only reason my ass isn't outside right now. The potency was nowhere near anything I smoke. Not even close.

First off let me say that it is legal. Do not let opinions sway your dream. I had a greenhouse last year and I am still here. The cops showed up for a totally diffrent topic. When they got here you can bet your ass they saw that greenhouse. It was locked it was enclosed and they knew damn well I was legal. They counted and kept on moving on with their lives.

Thatt being said let me tell you something that you must hear. Now that greenhouse is a sore to the community many of your higher ups feel. So that being said there is a saying that goes like this...if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it fall, did it fall?. If you are going to do this do it right! You see polycarbonite is not completly see threw yet lets the sun in. Try flying a helicopter 20 feet above polycarbonite with ridges. They will see nothing but a green blur.

If you do this do it right spend the cash on the materials that get it done. It is 30 a piece for polycarbonite at menards. I suggest the 4x8 panels for sides and the longer thinner ridgy panels for roof. Make it enclosed and make sure it locks! Tell no one that need not know.

As for outdoor growing well shit we can speak all day of opinions but we can get it done in a couple hours with facts... Fact one the more sun it gets the less leafy it will become - hence the main problem with outdoor buds is many never got the light thus resulting in what gladstoned and others speak of " a quality issue" many little things result in good quality outdoor. Plus you do not have to mess with these tinker toys we call HPS lights. You have real power with the sun on your side and the sun is said to have naturall healing ability to plants which the lights do not and cannot produce.

Lets talk and I think you should do it but like the others say location like real estate is a issue. I would not suggest growing in detroit city limits or any thing against the laws of common sense. Outdoor turns me on unlike the indoor so lets chat.

I will also through this in because. You get into trouble about it not being secure because it was built with polycarbonite you ask for a jury trial plead not guilty. At the trial take a brand new 500$ window and bring a piece of your polycarbonite in as well and bring 2 nice size rocks. Set em both up and throw a rock at that polycarbonite the rock will bounce off. Now throw the rock at that window that mother fucker is gonna smash into pieces and the rock will end up on the other side. That is when you look at the jury and say the greenhouse was more fucking secure then mine and all your houses. Case will be dropped and then you sue.

I guess I threw this in for all..cause rember like the tv once said... THE MORE YOU KNOW
