Nice one brick top + rep for that response, i love learning and aint too proud to admit im deffinately still learning but i do try and keep optimium conditions for my plants if you have the time id love it if you could steer me as to where any stressing could ocur.
My set up consists of;
3 x 400w MH/HPS interchangeable lights divided over 30 square feet (i do the whole process from seed to bud in same room so mh for veging etc)
2 x 5" extractors and filters (temp ranges from 80 degrees f to 85 degrees f on hottest days to 71 degrees f during night)
Wall to wall diamond reflective foil
2 x 12" oscilating fans on low setting (gently blowing over plants during lights on and sporadically during lights out)
1 x 30 litre feed tank (heated to 23 degrees c with air stone and pump circulating nutes)
All canna nutes and additives set to 5.9 ph with tester and ionic ph up and down, including
Rhizotonic (stated dose)
Cannazym (stated dose)
Terrra vega (set at around 1.4 ec during peak veging time)
liquid silicone (stated dose)
FLOWERING
Rhizotonic, cannazym and silicone all still added at recomended levels as set by Canna.
Terra flores (set around 1.6 during peak flowering, tested by blue lab truncheon)
Canna boost (stated dose)
PK 13/14 (given between 4th and 5th week)
Air pots and standard pots (the plants that are not hermies are in air pots)
Canna soil mix
All seeds germinated in pete discs sprayed with the recomended dose of rhizotonic solution, and only started on light veging nutes after 8 days or so.
That sounds like a cool system. There are only a few small differenced between your setup and my setup. Do you have pics?

i can send some pics when my wife gets home, she has the camera phone, there are a couple of silver linings to this cloud, the first being that i can actually see how these air pots do create a nice radial root system compared to the spiraling roots from the standard pots, and the second is that i have 1200 watts over two plants, one 400 over the tops of em and an angled 400 watt each side providing PLENTY of light all the way down to the base not a shadowy area in sight, will get pics done this eve cheeeeers

I have grown 5 Big Bang, 5 WW and 2 5 seed mixes From Greenhouse and never a single hermie. People talk alot of shit about these guys but I love em.

I was the same man, i was a GHSC fan cos the previous grows were amazing and they do slick grow videos and all but when you have to get rid of over half youre crop from doing nothing different than previous times, its like being kicked in the spheres, it would seem from looking on a few other forums that the church in particular is most affected, and happening to way more experienced growers than me, i hope you continue to have a no hermy run dude, but for me im going to go the mother plant and clone route, once bitten twice shy, cheeers

If you want hermy-free seeds, go with Paradise Seeds or Dinafem Seeds. I've never- NEVER- have had a hermy from either of their beans. If you want hermies, then grow out Dutch Passion or Greenhouse Seeds. If you want just plain shitty seeds, go with Reeferman Seeds (I'm talking now, not 3 years ago). Shanti, Sannie and DJ Short are the best. There are alot of other very good breeders, but just as many bad ones.

A number of the better breeders don't believe in feminized seeds at all, and refuse to produce them. I use them because of space considerations and have been very happy, using mainly Paradise Seeds (Nebula, Opium, Ice Cream, Sensi Star). If you use a reliable source, they will grow out fine and be quality.

Ive grown out feminised seeds from GHSC, DNA Genetics, Reserva Privada and G-13 Labs.

Thwe only hermie I got was from the 1 Church seed that germinated and was worth growing from 10 seeds. That plant grew alongside 6 other strains that didnt herm.

I even cloned it to make sure it was the plant and not me, and sure enough both clones also hermed.....i'm not saying its all genetic, but im saying that its not always grower error. All my other plants have been fine through 3 cycles in my perpetual grow, not a single banana on dozen of plants except on The Church.
As far as I have been told if you grow a plant from seed and it herms no matter what after it shows the male traits all clones from then on will be herms as well because the male hormones are from then on present in high enough quantities. So even if it was caused from stress the damage is already done.
I personally think just by how you said it was a way different pheno then you have ever seen before you have to remember that when it comes to seeds not only can you get a seed that produces a plant of far superior genetics then its sisters you can also get some that are mutated throw back genetics because all living organisms on this planet still contain the genetic instructions from millions of years ago it contains the path that genetic code will evolve to become.

Just a quick note to anyone considering Greenhouse seeds feminised great white shark or church DO NOT GET THEM, last grow i used them and everything went great all seeds germinated and all were female this time i had 5 femed churches and 5 femed great white sharks exactly the same conditions as before but two weeks into flower and i couldnt believe my eyes as ALL but two plants showed both flowers and the start of pollen sacks, i know theres always a risk of hermies with feminised seeds but from a large company like greenhouse especially when they put 100% HERMAPHRODITE FREE on the fucking pack, i gave theese things a long veg aswell and with only two left i wont get enough to see myself through till the next crop, thanks greenhouse you pair of twats, i havent paid my car insurance so i had enough for your overpriced shit seeds, mind you there yaghts and villas wont pay for them selves eh ajax or what ever the fuck his name is, the king of cannabis.........NO ....THE KING OF HIS OWN HYPE MORE LIKE.....................
so dont make my mistake....DONT GET GREENHOUSE SEEDS...........
I am guessing you should learn to grow before trashing a 30+ cup winning breeder. I have grown Bubba Kush, Church, WW, WR, El Nino, AMS, Big Bang, Lemon skunk and Cheese from GHS and have had 2 seeds not germ and not 1 hermie. Read more and type less.

i am currently in week 5 of the flowering phase and have just discovered one of my(feminised) Greenhouse Bubba Kush plants is a hermie, i have been growing for years and for the last few i have been totaly brand loyal to Barneys Farm seeds. This is only the second time i have grown a Greenhouse strain and the first time i have ever had a hermie! i cant believe it has taken me this long to spot!!! the plant itself is so dense it was hiding the pollen sacks. (i only noticed due to an amount of white powder on a fan leaf) I take extra special care when growing new strains,so im am 99.9% certain this is not a stress induced problem. To be fair to Aryan and the Greehouse seed company the genetics are some of the finest i have worked with, congrats to Barneys for their Cannabis Cup success with Tangerine Dream!
(i have included a pic of the Hermie below)

Growing conditions can cause plants to hermie, btw. But given the fact that they're all feminized seeds, I don't doubt the possibility that that turned on you naturally. The take-away here should not be that GreenHouse sucks, but that feminized seeds themselves suck.
I agree, also i have grown strains from green house seeds and had no hermies. Its just the way you grow

I had a feminized Kandy kush and northern lights males....If you find a strain/pheno you like...Clone it!

Its just a crap shoot with seeds no matter the label.

Whenever I'm dealing with plants from fem seeds I use DM Reverse on them. I usually spray them the day before I start 12/12 then one more time 2 weeks into 12/12. The stuff really works, I had a couple clones from a known hermie. I treated them with DM Reverse as an experiment and they ran clean all the way through flower.
