GreenLeaf Medicinals or "Broken Coast" Nightmare

I signed up with Greenleaf back in March, after one shipment of some reasonably good Purple Kush that damn recall happened. Apparently they didn't keep production records and had to destroy all of their stock and start from scratch. In turn, they purchased some Pink Kush from that Whistler company that was supposed to tide us over until their product was ready. Unfortunately, that product tested high for heavy metals and is considered "unsafe" for us. I decided to wait it out on the promise of having product ready at the end of October which would only cost 5 dollars a gram for all of their existing patients, meanwhile all of the new patients registering under their new name "Broken Coast" would have to pay almost double that. I still don't understand how keeping logs of the plants growth doubles the cost of their product. I spoke with them today and now they are saying that Health Canada has to come in and do an inspection, which could take months as they have given them no time frame for then this is supposed to happen. In what bizarre alternate universe is this medicine easier to acquire? I have an illness and have had no medicine for months. I'm fed up and I've decided to shell out the cash for a new prescription. I was wondering if anybody could recommend the lesser of these evils? I was considering Canna farms but in all honesty I'm just going to order one magic bottle and tell the Harper government to blow me by growing my own. I have called Health Canada multiple times and when I don't get some French Canadian speaking in broken English, I get some jerk that treats me like I'm some two bit junkie. Fuck man.

Yes, I hope when they do get their licence back anybody considering registering with them sees this and decides otherwise. Trust me, this LP is so full of it and they certainly do not consider us patients.

Sry to hear that you have been waiting on your first order of medication. We are in the same boat due to lack of supply. Medreleaf called with bad news saying that new patients will be able to order on Nov 10th due to HC guidelines. My wife called CannaFarms today with another missed call and she has not heard from them since July...Most of these LPs have waiting lists except for Cannimed but their prices are ridiculous. Hold on to your documents until someone worthy of your money comes in the game. I heard Thunderbird Biomedical are looking for 100 to 200 patients soon and In The Zone Produce updated their site to "
Please check back for announcements pertaining to registration and product availability." Good luck buddy, this system blows and I feel you on the compassionate clubs...to me there is nothing legal receiving weed (schedule I) in the mail lol

I almost wan't to get busted growing just so I can make a huge federal case out of being denied my medication for 6 months and being forced to grow my own. I could almost believe this bullshit about this system being put in place to make it easier for us to get IF it typically didn't cost 8 - 10 dollars a gram for a bunch of flowers. It is most certainly safer to buy your shit from some street dealer, whats the worst they are going to do stab you? These LPs are going after your balls.

Compassion clubs seem to be cheaper than street prices, and with a lot more variety.

I have not had too many issues with my LP, Tilray, except for the fact that they have been out of all Sativa's for the last few weeks. Oh, and the price is WAY too high. But I've always been able to get something.

The London Compassion Society, has lots of selection at a much cheaper price. They also have photo's of their strains online with reviews that sound like someone has actually tried the strain. I'm sure the BCCC is similar to this.

I like the "safety blanket" of having a prescription with an LP that is legal. Although after you get that initial LP packaging - who's going to be able to tell what you put in the bag?

I think Compassion Clubs are great. Wish I had a local one here in Thunder Bay.

Im also curious, has anybody dealt with the police regarding their LP medication? Apparently, if I get caught smoking my medicine I show my bottle to the cop who then calls up my LP to verify my prescription. However, as far as I know these people are like any other business and are only open 9-5 Monday to Friday. So if I get popped on a Friday night I'm going to have to spend the weekend in Penetang Super max waiting for some fuck to show up late to work on Monday? Prison rape, you don't have to be Edward Norton.

You are the only people I have heard of that are having trouble with Canna Farms customer service. There must be a reason for this..one thing LPS don't turn away is money...the only time I have ever heard of them dicking somebody around before they're even registered is because the customer wasn't legit.

I'm by no means saying that your wife isnt in need of mmj, I know nothing of her condition. But this seems super strange to me....they have been prompt and helpful to myself and basically every one else I have heard from. I just don't understand why they keep blowing you off. I feel for ya.

Not even I have the answer to your question but, I do believe that many LPs brush off unregistered patients because they have the power to do so due to a known high demand for mmj. Like I said before, if you cannot pick up the phone then you certainly do not deserve my money...even if they did call back with availability I would advise my wife to politely decline. I am glad that CF is helping their registered patients at the moment, but, I have a feeling these LPs are getting too cocky due to this new Supply/demand model that this MMPR program created.

I didn't see the unregistered part of this. My mom signed up with Tilray. After she registered someone called her within the first day to answer any questions and provide product information. Then a week or so later she called them and ordered over the phone. I've always ordered online myself.

I have no experience with asking them questions unregistered though.

It sounds like a lot of the LP's have been struggling and many patients are getting mucked over.

Why the government had to reverse things so entirely is beyond me. Clearly current LP's need help.

Good thing there are still Compassion Clubs open.

That's super weird..they even gave me strain info before I mailed anything in.. I also placed two orders that I changed my mind about they promptly cancelled and changed things for me. I nailed them with questions and they were always prompt, courteous and professional... it's blowing my mind that they treated you that way.

Methinks he is leaving out some key details. Anyone who has ever worked in customer service or retail knows that the people who scream bloody murder are usually the crazy and rude ones who expect special treatment. To expect a small LP like CannaFarms to hold your hand when you're not even a patients seems ridiculous to me.

Yea i forgot to mention that the only reply I have EVER recieved from CF was through email about registration information. The key detail for you to understand is that the customer is always right. Therefore, I am complaining that there is NO customer service...not about recieving BAD customer service. that is the problem with Mankind...we expect too much. Happy Thanksgiving to all and your families and happy tokin' to the Canadian patients that have acces to proper medicine! My wife registered with MedPotNow and she is happy! Oh ! I almost forgot! The only ones that are getting special treatment in this system are registered MMPR patients and LPs...not the new ones that want to acces this new/bs system. I have also called other LPs with the same problem as MedReleaf due to HC postponing their confirmation of product. Now if only CF could repsond to a phonecall that would awesome! and just for Sandy I used another cellphone with NO answer trolol

You have been CUT OFF
They do not have to inform you.
They can do what ever the fuck they please, when ever the fuck they please, to screw patients who utter even the idea of a complaint.

Yea it is just another business venture for these players on the stock market! This forum has shown me the value of compassion clubs and dispensaries...Once again, I thank you all for the information. Getting scammed by the black market and the MMPR program is frustration but, patience is a virtue! I am now able to order my wife's medication through MedPotNow with better prices than LPs. Oh! and a much better customer service that guided my wife through registration.
