I've been going round and round in my head on how to set up heat ventilation and smell abatement in my new room. Nothing is gellin'.
Cold northern clime with hot summers. 9X10 room, 8' ceilings. Access by one cheap hollow door. One window. Small attached closet. Unfinished attic filled with manufactured trusses with the chimney for the Natural gas fire place passing through way over at the other end of the house. A 4' deep, dirt floor, vented crawlspace underneath.
2 1KW HPS vented hoods with 4" get-ons. Magnetic ballasts. Dirt.
I cannot imagine a way to vent the heat from the lights and get the stink out. I would like to do it with one fan. Is it possible? Is a sealed room possible in a plain house?
If there a be all, end all sticky or something here I haven't noticed it. I'm sure there is a solution and I just can't see it.
