Grow #1! Nirvana Whine Rhino HPS ScrOg grow box

This is my first real grow. I decided to journal it to get any tips you guys can give me. I've got two wooden grow boxes in a greenhouse I built in my backyard.

Main grow(soil):
I built a wooden grow box thats about 2 1/2' wide x 2' deep x 4 1/2' tall and hung a 150 watt sun system hps fixture over 2 plants in 12" pots. You'll notice a third plant in a smaller pot and the two cups, those are extra in case I have a male in one of the big pots, I didn't spring for the fem seeds...so. Once they get 6 or 7 weeks old and start showing pistils, ill break it down to just 2 plants.

I'm also using a fence metal-wire u-scrog screen positioned about 7-8" above the pots.

To deal with the watering issue that comes with scrog, I set up a watering system with air valves and vinyl tubing. It essentially works like a beer bong, with a hose running to each pot.

Side Grow(soil):
This second box is actually for clones in the near future, but while I've got the space...

Grow setup is a wooden box measuring 14" x 12" x 30", for one blackjack plant in a small pot.

I've built a 4 bulb cfl fixture using those socket splitters. I'm currently running 4 23 watt bulbs (2 6400k & 2 2700 k) for a total of 92 watts.

In both grows, I'm using Fox farms ocean forest soil. For nutes I'm using Maxigrow every other watering at 1/4 tsp per gallon, moving up to 1/2 tsp in a few days, then 1. For flowering, I plan to use tigerbloom along with beastie blooms. Any suggestions

UPDATE:

Im switching to Fox Farm Grow Big for the veg stage. I like the wider variety of ingredients compared to the maxigrow (earthworm castings, kelp). I'm starting at 1 tsp/gallon, increasing to 2 tsp in a week or two.

Day 9

It's been about two weeks since the initial seed plant..9 days since all 3 sprouted, and there about 1 1/2"-2" tall. This is day three since the switch to Fox farm grow big, and the second leaves are starting to form. I've got my 150w hps lamp hanging about 10 inches above the plants, is that too close for such small plants or am I okay?
