like if i took the most similar plant i could find, a male, and pollinated one of the renes, then backcrossed it over and over again, the percentage of rene genetics would keep going up right? would i eventually get an almost pure rene genetic plant? sorry, i know not much at all about breeding seeds and genetics, and like what proportion of each parent a plant takes on, and so on

two ways to do it
#1 have to grow large numbers...and pheno hunt..smoke test and do that over and over...
#2 this is what lots of "breeders" are doing...
make some colloidal silver and spray it on a budding clone...
it will make it grow male flowers...and seed the bud...with feminized seeds...
and then you will end up with something like it...it wont be the same...
just like those blue dream seeds...

if there that big when you put them out your going to need 2 bail in a triangle and put your plant in the middle. and thats alot of bails. i put them out in party cups one per bail and got over a pund a plant.

but doesnt that make them hermaphrodite seeds? like say i crossed rene clone with a male purple indy, then from the resulting i would have 50/50 genetics, then i bred a male of those 50/50 seeds with another rene clone, i would then have genetics 75/25, rene/purple indica? and so on, is that how it works? like i could eventually breed the purple indica right out of it, well, almost?

sorry, like the hay is the substrate? like the only soil they grow in is whats in your cups, and the hay? plus the whatever of the ground the roots extend into?

you will have to phenotype hunt as well...and if you going to do it outside it will take years...
i found this: Rene is next up, and one of my all time favorites; it was such a treat to finally see the macro shots of the Rene gland heads. I was lucky enough back in the day to smoke exclusively Rene full melt bubble, and can attest that it is still to this day one of my bubblehash favorites. The strain itself smells very fruity, but once burned or vaporized it smells of haze in the air. What a great combo of flavors. Not available in seed form, but the next best thing is the strain High End available at Legends Seeds end available through Legend Seeds...

ya i cant find legends seeds anywhere, rene cross seed hunting has become futile for me, theres a cross on vancouver seed bank but its been out of stock for like 30 years....well a year actually, plus i know nothing about that seedbank. are spice of life seeds legend related, do ya know?

my legal indoor sog is blackwater.....it's in out building around 100 yard from my house...but i can still smell them in my bathroom....
kush stank...my blackwater mom is crazy....over 100 tops...going to put her in a 100 gallon smart pot...she can't wait...
blue dream is clone only....my '12 blue dream was over 7' tall ...tastes great but i hear no one want it here...
i only grow from my family... not for profit...so i don't really care if the market if flooded with blue dream..it tastes awesome!....
