grow cab and heat problem

ok maybe ill try this here

ok, i have a 37" long by 30" wide by 6foot tall cab.
400watt halide.....exhaust is out of the top and intakes are 90 elbows painted black.....coming in on the bottom.

I had 6 plants in there and my temps stayed at 78 degrees most of the day........i even added a 150 hps light in the corner and still had pretty stable temps between 75-80 degrees F. my problem is NOW i have 3-confirmed females in there alone and my temps are raising into temps of 86degrees F~! wtf? is going on?
i turned off the HPS and the heat is staying.

This might sound real wierd but ive heard of people freezing a pitcher of water and setting it in the grow cab in front of the fan when its all the way frozen it should help u keep things cool....or a bucket of ice.... This of course would be temPerary relief to ur situation unless it works and u dont mind then of course you could do this routinely... However if this isnt at all helpful maybe ur in need of bigger or better fans/ventilation.... Idk just thinkin..... Good luck cant wait to hear how everything goes 4 u...

i have a "producer" grow cab and i have some troubles with heat as well... can you bring in cool air from under your house?? this is what i've had to do since spring has finally sprung...

I have since redid my ventilation. I now maintain 78ish degrees. I have used myself the frozen jug thing and it works! but is only temporary as its a pain in the ass switching them. The question was more of a phenomenon cause with more plants i had less heat issues oh well .
