Can you bring in a lil outside air to basement? A Honeywell stat from home depot can control your humidity and plenum room temp by just cycling a fan to outside would not take much fan in a room that size
Thats a nice setup thanks for showing me i can picture in my mind the buds ha

I was hoping/ planning on keeping an eye on the big room and cracking the windows to release humidty if the dehumidifier cant keep up. i was thinking the big room would be big enough that it wont cause problem and ill be able keep it in check. The biggest concern is smell i dont want my house smelling of weed i dont need my wife busting my balls ha

The ceiling is i think 71/2 if i remember correctly. The first grow i was planning on doing sog just so the veg is short and 8 can get some bud sooner then i was planning on doing a scrog and training the plants for the second crop

Ya at 7and 1/2 height you will need to keep plant height down. With plenty of air movement and windows close by you oughta do great. Are you running hydro or soil? I did not notice? I’d think with an air cooled hood you could get within 2 feet of that fixture pretty easy. I have extra room in a true 5 by 5 space I’d run a max of four plants in 7 gallon or 10 gallon pots for Sog I’d run three gallon as many as you can pack in space and trim side growth to keep them off each other and shoot for telephone pole looking plants probably won’t need any extra light. I ran a 600 hps in a 4 by 4 for years and it was good to me probably averaged 12 ounces per cycle on 5 or six plants in plastic potting containers 3 or five gallon always got at least 2 zips per plant I think I coulda done better in a five by five with the six hundred not more plants just more space. When growing big plants space helps. If you do a true scrog and get it right environment etc you should get 1.5 to 2.5 lbs per harvest. I like to keep at least three strains and just don’t have the patience or time to scrog besides that I’d have crawl around to get it right. But in your space a scrog will really pay off

i was dreaming of doing hydro but the realist part of me is telling me to do soil lol. and the grow space room im thinking will end up being roughly 5x 7ish unless i say fuck it and just by a 5x5 it'll depend on if there's some stores doing a sweet black friday/ cyber monday deal. depending if and what the deals are my equipment will change im a sucker for a sale :)
