my grow room gets pretty hot about 85-90. Im thinking about getting a portable ac and use co2. My issue is that i have a carbon filter running at all times. Is it possible for me to run the ac and co2 when lights are on, and keep carbon filter off, (12/12) than when lights out, ac is off and co2 is off and carbon filter back on? or do i need to remove stale air at all times?......right no wmy lights are being cooled from another room through the lights and out to the attic.. carbon filter is exhausting out the attic also....helppppp anyoneeeeee

If your going to get an AC, then your problems are going to be easily solved.
Your lights are essentially sealed so no need to worry about them. Install your AC and Co2 system and seal the entire room. put your fan and carbon filter in the corner and just scrub the air to remove smells. Your plants don't need "fresh air". They need co2 when light on and oxygen when lights off.
A little friendly advice...if you own this home. Get a split AC unit, and NOT a portable one. The mini-splits don't exhaust anywhere, are waaaay more efficient than a portable and are completely silent.
Also look into a co2 burner as opposed to bottles. botttles are a huge huge huge pain in the ass.
