Grow room/home security...what do you have???

Just trying to get a general consensus on what types of grow room security, or home security that everyone has chosen. Excluding security systems that were already there prior to the growing. Looking more for what kind of security measures people have taken in order to kinda protect from intruders/shady lurkers from coming after the crop. Looks like I'm going to be moving into a town home that has a basement that I'll be using to grow in and it has a few windows and a entry door with a lock of course. So I will not only have to shade or black out the windows, but I'd like to install door and window sensors with some motion lights outside. Decently safe area, kinda high end so it's more on the expensive side, but precautionary is where I'm at right now.

I was just looking at Lowes.com and they have an expandable system that is wireless that can expand to door and lock sensors, window sensors, external sirens, etc. Has anyone had luck with these? The full expansion system looks like it would be around 150-200 bucks. Budget is limited so right now this seems like the way to go. Suggestions? Thanks everyone.

Dogs are pets but natural protectors,just the look puts people off.
If your allowed guns get one,were not here and its messed up.
Dogs and good neighbours,try not to do a gate unless theres people with them already,blends in if neighbours have them.

If your looking at alarm systems look into a ITI Simon 3, Simon XT or LYNX quick connect....Cheaper systems on the wallet.
Ive seen em on line about $180 for 2 doors and a motion sensor...more can be added at any time.

my security system consists of 1 - 100 pound male pigmy goat. he stays horny and mean and im the only one who can handle him. gotta feed him a whole pack of saltine crackers just to tend my garden...like i said, hes a mean lil fuck and i pitty the fool that stumbles across him in the dark. oh...he sleeps against the door of the room cuz he knows ill show up every night like clock work, lol

pitbulls and shotguns... i live in the sticks, dogs let me know there comming from a mile away and i go to one porch with the 12 gauge and rack off a round or two... the ol lady goes to other porch with her 12 gauge and turns on lights. thats as far as intruders get here. if im not home i lock the house and let dogs run free. lol good luck. they dont know you they will attack you. and i trained the dogs to be scared of "treats" you might say. go a head and offer my dogs a steak to make em like you... they will go crazy. my buddy trains police dogs... we got this one. lol

Just take another persons security sign & stick it in your front yard I got one that says "armed response"
