I am aiming to get as close to perpetual as possible. I would prefer to be able to harvest weekly, I just can't seem to be able to figure out how to make it happen. Its 6:47am and I haven't slept yet I think I just need some outside perspective. Please help!

Here is a diagram of my setup:

Going from seeds, to cuttings. I know I have it worded wrong for the first three weeks, but lets pretend I will be starting vegetative growth at the beginning of each week and not germinating. =/

Thank you for any insight!

As far as I can tell, there is a SIX week gap in between the third vacuum seal, and the first vacuum seal of the next harvest. 6 weeks is far too long for obvious reasons, can anyone help me get this down to perpetual, or 2 weeks? even 3 weeks? Do I need 4, or even 6 sections going at a time to make this happen?

it looks like you will be having 3 veg rooms and 3 flower rooms.

i would do a harvest every 3 weeks on a 9 week strain. so every 3 weeks you harvest a flower room, take clones from a veg. room and move those plants to the flower room.

to harvest every week you would have plants at 3 different weeks in each room. it can be done but you need to keep track of each plant along with an uneven canopy in each room.

do you plan to keep a mother in each veg room or take a clone from a clone from a clone each time?

i would want to have a mother each room and take clones off her every 9 weeks.

The pic shows a 3 plant harvest every week for a 9 week cycle. I run a similar system with 24 plants, 3 plants every week. Every 10 dayd is when I take clones, I take 7 clones at a time. This eventually will allow you to skip a cloning cycle every few weeks. I have five stages of growth in veg for a 6 week veg cycle. Doing a six week cycle allows for an additional 2 weeks growth if needed for a new strain or something. I can cycle 3 plants into flower for about 3 weeks then I have to double up and add an additional tray, to use up my clones, or you just throw your worst clones away.

By doing 7 clones a week you will bloat your system so clean up will be necessary from time to time, I hate throwing good plants out!

The left side of the pic is actually one solid room. I don't intend on having any dividers, just trying to divide it up on paper so to figure out a good system.

For the veg room, I will be using a three tiered shelf with t10 bulbs. I divided it up on the diagram so that it can be better seen.

The left side is 13'x6.5' as is the right side.

This will be my full time job, combined with my partner. We will be keeping track of everything.

I was thinking today about separating the rooms into 6 sections. Veg for 3 weeks, flower for 8 weeks, dry for 1 week, cure for 4 weeks. Stagger the grows every week, and it should yield only a two week gap.

A total of 16 weeks from cuttings to curing, I don't intend on having a mother at first and just plan on using cuttings taken from the flowering section after 5 weeks of flowering and transferring to the veg room.

Harvesting every 3 weeks isn't really an option, because that means it would only be available every other month pretty much. I've got to get a system to produce at least every week, with only 2-3 weeks in between, 0 weeks preferably but I can handle 2.

I am thinking of increasing the sections to 6, and having 8 plants per section. I would like to get rid of the two week gap so I can have some product available every week, but space is becoming an issue, thats why I am asking does anyone have any suggestions for me to produce every week? I would love to see 1lb a week, but that is irrational, I don't care how much I get a week, just so long as it is the same amount weekly. Consistency is key.

Using three 400w HPS lights with digital ballast for the flowering room. Going to attempt LST if it becomes to much work then I will attempt SOG method. Perhaps just do some super cropping but I think smaller nugs will work better for what I am aiming for.

Thank you guys for replying, and please do continue to do so. Talking helps my ideas grow, and I obviously can't talk to anyone I know about this.

So in case any one cares, I decided upon this. It yields weekly for 6 weeks, with a 2 week gap and then 6 more weeks. So 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

i like to take my cuttings the same day or day before i go to flower. i dont like to take them too far into flower because it seems to take longer to root and sometimes you get wierd 1 leaf growth for a while.

i only have 1 veg room and 1 flower room. so i take my cuttings and move the plants to flower. the cuttings can take up to 2 weeks to root, then veg for 7-8 weeks just as my flower room is open the clones are ready.

the key is to know your strains so you know how long to veg and flower. along with taking your clones at the right time so they are ready and then just take clones once a week.

depends on strain and time of year due to high temps. but i use cfl's for the 10 days rooting and about 3 weeks of veg then 400 mh for the rest of veg. so anywhere between 18" and 22" without topping or lst. i grow in pro mix with fox farm nutes.

my veg environment is not the most ideal with ventilation so i do get some slow growth
