Local growshop says lady bugs are too small too consume spider mites and suggested using predator mited instead too irradicate problem. Dont mind trying predator mites but they are 10x more expensive. Is it true what my grow shop is telling me or are they just trying to juice more doe out of me? any help would be appreciated trying hard to get rid of these buggers without much success

Lady bugs prefer aphids, but will definitely take care of spider mites, I also can't say enough about Fox Farms Don't Bug Me, its totally safe to spray from seedling to days before harvest..

I let go 3000 lady bugs in veg and another 3000 in flower. Well in veg they stuck around it was a 10x10 area but in flower they all died in the lights and sucked up by fliter, etc. I do not care for them in flower. I think the best thing in flower is neem or Pyrethins.
If you do go lady bugs wet a sponge and sit bag of bugs on sponge so when they wake up they will drink while in bag and not fly off looking for water, also mix soda pop and water and mist them so there wings will stick for 4-6 days and they don't just fly off.

I have used neem oil mixed with safer brand spry approximately for 2 weeks spraying every three days. this is in veg stage. my 5 mothers seem to have no bugs nor do the 20 clones about 5 weeks into veg. the problem lies in my new clones, im running batches of 20, they all seem to get infected no matter wht or how often i spray, they all end up with webbs eventually. gonna try letting ladybugsloose in my plastic containers of clones.
