yea badman2424,great place to grow some monster plants.I've been doing this for many years this way & been most succesfull for me.Last summer grew 4 huge girls 6to 7 foot bushes.yeiled almost a pound each.
I'd like to offer just one word of caution about railroad tracks. A lot of people would be quite surprised at how often trains just pull up and stop at the most remote locations you can imagine - and more than a few railroad guys know exactly what a marijuana plant looks like. It's a good idea not to plant too close to the tracks. I found what looked like a terrific grow site one year, right next to some tracks way out in the middle of absolutely nowhere. But I noticed a lot of broken train parts laying around all over the place - pieces of springs, brake shoes, twisted hunks of wire, all sorts of weird looking shit. I planted there anyway, but as the summer went on I learned that this was one of the spots where the railroad has their trains lay over for some mysterious reason, and while the train is sitting around they apparently do maintenance stuff. Quite a number of times I hiked all the way out there only to find railroad guys banging away on boxcars with hammers and all sorts of other tools. Fortunately, i was planted far enough away from the tracks that nobody found my crop, but if I'd planted right on the embankment I'm sure someone other than I would have smoked the fruits of my labors that year.
