grow space question

i have a quick question, im growing in a gutted dresser i made and i have about 3 1/2 feet of vertical space to grow. so how tall should my plant be when i put it in flowering to make sure it doesnt outgrow my box? thanks for the input.

6-8in depending on how much room your lights take up and how tall your pots are. They will double to triple in size
