OK, so i bought a tent they said i can fit 16 plants in, now I ended up with only 10 so I wanted to try a scrog, which at the end did not work out since i have to many plants......
now my question is what would be the best way to go to get the a bigger yield........... fill all the space i have with 15 plants or just get a scrog goin in the same space with 4 to 5 plants,,,,,....................

Just set my tent up today. For a cheapo I'm impressed! No sleaves with draw strings but It's huge in there and it's got everything else for only a 180 bucks. Already loving the tent thing lol. I'll try to fire the 1000 watt up for a tester tomorrow. I'll take pics when it's all set up.

25 gal reservoir(but only use 10 gallons of it)
4oo cfm active air inline fan
400 cfm carbon filter
250 cfm induction fan
air pump with stones
all insulated ducting
advanced nutrients sensi with all the fixins..
i havent started flowering yet, but i hoping by the end of this week..
when the went in

i have 2 plants that just didnt like the idea of going vertical....but there getting there!

Thanks guys. its my first indoor grow but i have worked in multiple grow rooms around here. but so far i really like the system. it has 3 drains that get's the water back to the reservoir very quick, allowing me to only need about 5-6 gallons of water. and the drains really help oxygenate the water. i can take the whole system down in about a hour. but im really curious to see what it can yield cause the plants are getting light from the side no canopy affect to cause small little buds on the bottom..but we will see.
oh and p.s... the other day i pulled the reservoir to the left to check ppm and didnt put it back. so one drain was draining on the floor....ALL BAD!!...ALL NIGHT!!

I set my new 6x6 tent up today. I left the fan mounted to the wall above the window but im just venting into the room. All the flaps on the bottom are open so if I leave them that way that means no hepa-filter. I fired up the 1000 watt and left the window cracked open 2 or 3 inchs for cool fresh air. An hour later I returned to find the temps inside the tent at 89 degrees. Damn! I was hoping I could get away with a passive intake. Im thinking I'll either have to vent out the window again or use a fan to push air into the tent. Shit maybe both. Heres some pics of the setup as of right now. Any adivce?

It's pretty badass! I love the look of the inside makes me feel like I'm in a space ship LOL. I just don't trust the top railing. I don't think it can support the hood, filter, and in-line fan. I'm hoping at least the filter and hood but IDK how heavy the filters are yet. Other then that I'm impressed. Not to shabby for a huge cheapo. How do you have your ventilation set up? Are you drawing cool air from outside?

I see one side of hood is open. Maybe get another duct and run it out the tent to bring in fresh air from outside the tent to pull across the light? Should be a great tent, lots of room!

Right I was thinking of either doing that or running ducting from outside into the tent. Does everyone use the rectangular flaps at the bottom for air intake? Because I don't see how one can filter the air coming into the tent that way. I'd like to utilize these but not if I can't filter them some how...

Yeah thats what I meant. The way it is now you are pulling 89* air across the bulb, outside air might be 20* less and bring down temps like 5* - 10* I think. You also will want to add another fan pulling into the room fresh air I think.

OK, so here's a dumb question.................I switched my light cycle to 12/12 after 28 days of vegging, the plants reached +/- 12" height.......should I start counting the blooming days right away cause there's no sign of blooming yet or should I wait till they start to flower to start counting the flowering days???...............
Any answer to my dumb question is highly appreciated...........

Some people do it at start of flower cycle and others after flowers are 1st seen. I think usually it is started at 1st day of 12/12 though. Sorry I am not more solid with my answer.

i heard day one starts at first flower signs, but as this is my first grow indoors, im counting the day i switched bulbs as day 1, dont really know if its wrong, cause its what works for me,
