Grow tent question

I'm thinking of getting a grow tent, and setting it up in my back room which is 10x10x8 with a 5000 btu air conditioner. here is my question, if i brought in a 4x8x7 grow tent would i be able to vent the hot air from three air-cooled 400 watt lights out of the tent, back into the 10x10 room to be cooled by the a/c and have the intake pull in the air from the 10x10 room to cool the inside of the tent. kinda hard to explain it. hope i was clear enough. but basically its a room in a room. so if "ANYBODY" can tell me something i'd appreciate it. because i dont want to order this thing on e-bay and it not work out. so thanks in advance.

yes this is exactly what i do and it works perfect, just know that with two 400 watt lights inside the tent and cooltubes, it should be like 8 degrees warmer in the tent than in the room.

what size tent do you have, and how many cfm's are your fan(s). And how many cfm's do you think i'll need for three 400wt lights.. I plan on getting the 6" cooltube reflectors that are a little longer than the usual 6" cooltubes. How do you intake/exhaust the tent? Thanks man. PEACE!!! -ZEN-
