Grow tents, need some final input.

Ok guys so here is the situation. I was contemplating between either a Homebox S or a growlab 60.

They are both around the same price, so i am pretty set on that. I know that the growlab a bit taller, but less wide, whereas the homebox is more wide, and a bit shorter.

I am going to be using CFL's for a bit, and hopefully upgrading to a 400w hps/mh system in the near future.

If anyone has used/heard anything about either of these i would greatly appreciate it.

I would hate to buy one and regret not getting the other, so let me know what you guys think

Hello 'neMMMM',

I understand the situation you find yourself in as I was in the exact same place you are now.

On reflection, my decision to do with a wider tent was vindicated as more plants could grow in the confined space.

Height of the plants is easier to control as opposed to wideness.

If you can spare the extra change, look at a bigger sized tent. Although more expensive, the satisfaction of larger yields will make you a very happy person in the long run. Money VERY well spent!

Thanks for the quick response. This is the largest i could go since i will be putting it into a closet, but wanted to be able to control the environment without cutting/modifying doors, wall and all that stuff. It will also help with the light leaks out of the closet.

What brand do you think i should do? i am leaning more towards the homebox.

im growing with a grow tent check out my grow journal .. i got something like that Grow box u wanna get.. heres my set up

Interesting that you lean towards the homebox.......my research has shown that the 'budbox' (same dimensions) is better built and very sturdy. The differences are miniscule through so dont worry if you cant come across it!

Either way, you are spot on. With a tent you become mother nature. Just remember to ventilate the closet well, air is free!
