Growing 6-12 plants how much lighting and bulb type

I am going to be growing 6-12 plants indoors I have done two harvest with not a real great yield I have reputable strains such as northern lights #5 park valley purrple, for scout cookies, critical yum bolt and Durban poison, and let is fruity widow, I am curious about how much lighting I will need for 6-12 plants indoors and what types of bulbs are the affordable but increase ur yields I know what type of bulbs to use at what times but what bulb spectrums or brands are the best and how many watts will grow 6 plants the best and how many watts will grow 12 plants the best thank you for any help

You should mention the size of the area your growing in, and if you have the ability to exhaust heat outdoors would be great.

For 6 - 12 plants Id recomend HID lighting though, 600 mH/hps has great penetration and growth in 10sq/ft. Just ballparking that you may be thinking of growing in a 3x3 space

Grow are 10x10 to 10x15ish and what type of bulbs if I do 6 plants I'll do 8x8 if I do 12 I'll do 10x15ish

I grow 14 plants in a 10x10 under 2 1000 watt lights and they are super happy plants there in 5 gallon pails fed with general organics line
