Hey guys I am about to start growing again in Denver, my question is, due to the high altitude, low humidity etc do I need to supliment humidity and about how much? Will be growing in a 3x3x6 grow tent under 600w HPS/MH in a cool tube reflector. Thanks!

I'm in pretty well the same scenario here in Alberta. 0% humidity. I have a small personal humidifier in my tent which keeps it just above 20%. I gave up worrying about it and I still get great results with low humidity.

You'll want to keep the humidity as low as possible;) Getting PM in a closed environment equals doom, very hard to get rid of. I havnt seen any difference in my plants since I took away the humidifier in veg. I especially want the RH to be as low as possible when the buds are packing weight. If you will be using a small tent you will most likely be battleing to keep the RH down, especially after you water. THis is my flower room this morning sitting at 15% RH (dehumidifier)

Thanks Guys, I have plenty of ventilation, and I know to keep the humidity down during flowering, I try and keep humidity around 45% during veg, will see what happens and will let you guys know. Great input, much appreciated!!

There are a couple things to think of in high altitude. Not sure if you really want to go for it or just get your crop harvested?
If you want to go for it... i would drop the glass out of the cooled tubes if there in there. the glass kills the UV from the MH and above 5000ft its even worse. Now a days if they do not say on the box No UVB filter then its in there and that just about kills any UV hitting the plants.
You need high RH in veg. about 70% seedlings and growth in veg. Temp about 75-80 unless you have C02 then 85-90 But the room better be sealed good or it will go quick. lol
You want very low Rh in flower and close to the last couple weeks about 15% would be opt.

Hope this helps
