Growing Outdoors in an Earthbox

Hello all,
This is my first post on here and I have a few questions. I have been growing veggies and herbs in a Earthbox for the last 4 summers and my yield was amazing. This year we are going to try 2 clones per box and we have 2 boxes. Anyone know any tips on growing in a self watering system. You can check out the system at www.earthbox.com and see if you would be interested aswell. I would like some info on what kind of fertilizer I should use when using granulated fertilizer? Also if you know of a better then another strain that would work better for this system. I'm very excted to try this and the weather here is wonderful. I have a few weeks before the clones can go into the boxes since our clones have a weeks or so before rooting. I have som pictures if anyone is interested but I haven't figured out how to post pics on here yet.
Any help would be wonderful and greatly appreciated.
Thanks all for helping out!

Give it a try - I'm currently making my own with a small twist: I'm using stacked Sterilite containers (stealth for closet) and instead of just using a soil wicking system, I have placed a bubbler at the base of the wick in the resevoir to carry the oxygenated water upwards. In my theory (hehe), the oxygenated water will rise up the middle to be used and the older, unused water will quickly perculate back down into the resevoir by gravity to be recycled.

For fertilizer I'm going to try and use Osmocote (vegetable) - using the recommended method of putting a stripe of it in the soil near the surface for the plants to grow roots toward and use as needed.

Goal is to have a relatively maintenance free grow in the back corner of a closet - we'll see how it goes... I'll start a journal as soon as I get the lights installed. Would be interested in how your's works out and how you decide to set it up...
