So it is my first time growing and i have six plants on the go_On these two one week old plants i am seeing the leaves growing weird and little yellow and brown developing on the leaves. They are under cfl at about 8 inches 24h days. I cant tell if it is a problem with the lighting over heat or over/under watering? any advice?????

Nitrogen burn, that is the symptom of using too much fertilizer than the plant needs. You will learn more about that later, right now just give her fresh, clean water, not tap water either. She looks healthy just give it plenty of light and feed her every 2 weeks, until she starts to grow and start the veg stage. Right now she is technically in the "seedling stage". You have approx 150-180 days to go until you can harvest or until she has fully matured.

It does not like that mix and pot. Get a normal plastic pot next size up ,very carefully transplant it into a new mix with much more perlite to avoid this O2 starved look, at least 30% .

I have not started to use fertalizer yet did not know if i should. am going to get some bigger pots and perlite. Is it worth putting them in the big final pots yet or size up and then transplant latter? the water here is very hard is it a possibility that that is the cause?

only way to know if its the water is have it tested for ph. I use rain water so I know its basically as sterile as you can get hopefully. Hard water will cause this same effect because there is too many minerals that is interfering with the nutrient uptake throughout the plant. I would use bottled water if you think that its a watering problem. Then boil some tap water and let it cool then add it to her if badly needs some water (Distilled water). Remember your roots will want to grow out and not down so you must give her a wide bearthing area so she can grow more when she matures. Leave it for now in that pot, you can cut the bottom off of it when the roots start showing through. Most importantly is do not DISTURB the root system while the plant in just a seedling. A typical 5 gallon planting container will let the sativa grow to 6 feet tall and Indica to around 3 feet tall. It may have been nutrients added inside clay planter she is in, either way flush with a different watering source for water and wait a few more weeks see if that problem goes away. If not then add ferts a little at a time, not much you can do that as a last resort if it starts looking any worse.

the plants seem healthy besides the weird shaped growth and brown spots. all of the new guys are doing great but one of them is also developing a little brown. The lights have never been close enough to do any damage. I have not been able to check the ph level of the water but i have been letting it sit out over night and adding 3/4 tbs of molasses per gallon. they all seem happy but the two bigger guys have slowed their growth upwards and was thinking of upsizing pots. should i do all some or none. I have about 400w of cfl power on a 24h light schedule so far. very confused with the weird growth and brown spots. any advice or help is appreciated.
