This is my first grow and things are actually going much better then expected. I'm learning a lot, but it's a long road to victory and a lot can go wrong, which I expect for my first time.
With that said, I'm wondering if I'm making a big mistake by having plants under the same system that are in different stages of development.
I came upon some mature plants that I thought could be good for cloning, etc. I could say these mature plants are probably in their 6 or 7th week of vegetation, while the other plants are maybe in their 2 - 3 week. Am I screwing up by thinking that I can keep the larger plants in vegetative mode until the others catch up?
I understand that plants require different levels of nutrients depending on their stage, but that plants "look" good and at least from appearance, I see no indication of damage.
Is it plausible to "suspend" mature plants in the same grow room until smaller plants catch up, leveling off their differences in requirements?
I'm assuming there's going to be a vegetative limitation just due to my environment, as in the growth will slow because I'm only using a 430watt HPS.
thanks
