growing shrooms. help

i tried shrooms on halloween and loved it. ive been really interested in growing mushrooms ever since. i heard its not very hard, and since they dont need much light it shouldnt be bad. but im wondering if it is possible to grow them withought spores. they grow in the wild withought spores, so if i set up something that is a perfect copy of somewhere where shrooms would grow shouldnt shrooms grow? maybe this is a total dumbass idea..i dont know
any ideas would be apreaciated

i doubt the brown rice flour and vermaculite way would work withought a spore

you need spores..they wont grow on thier own

then explain how they grow in the wild withought spores

i just dont understand how they cant grow if i recreate the outdoor setting

spores are like seeds...without them, nothing will grow! 1 mushroom cap can produce millions of spores...then animals, and weather spread them around. It takes a male and a fem spore to get myc started...

will any mushroom produce spores sutable to convert into magies somehow could you post a pic of all of them that you can get high of of so i can hunt in the late spring

i have experimented a few times with mycology and yes, you are correct. it is fairly easy. the only thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to be EXTREMELY sanitary.

to answer your question, unless you have clones, you need spores to grow that. they are easily obtainable over the internet and are perfectly legal to buy in the US.

unless you are growing them outside i would say the perfect substrate is half organic brownrice flour half virmeculyte and mix with water.

make sure the temperature stays areund 76 and 99 percent humidity until your mycelium has fully colonized when you want to keep the temp around 81.

There is hundreds of diff strains...if they arent magic, they arent magic! Also, if you dont know which ones to pick, dont even waste your time..you could eat the wrong type and die! Just grow your own, its alot safer...go to spores101, and look at the cubensis strains

(99 percent humidity until your mycelium has fully colonized when you want to keep the temp around 81)

when fully colonized, you drop the temps to induce fruiting(68-74)

If you are planning on growing shrooms smokey i HIGHLY suggest that you read up a bit on the life cycle of the cubensis and how to cultivate them otherwise im afraid it is hopeless lol not to be mean but you do have to know wat you are doing, and like kush said, be very sanitary. Good luck
