Growing Shrooms With Finely Grained Vermiculite

Is this possible?? In all the guides I've read, they have coarse, spongy vermiculite, but NOWHERE can I find that. My local hardware store, anywhere online (even Amazon) only has finely grained vermiculite and I was really hoping to grow soon. BUT I CANT FIND THE SHIT. Can I mix a decent substrate that will work using this fine vermiculite?

fine does work but it gets soggier than course verm. just make sure there isnt TOO much water in it.

I tried mixing water into some fine verm and it just ended up like wet sand. And then I mixed in the brown rice flour and it still looked like wet sand.

I'll watch the videos... hopefully they'll help.

Otherwise, do you know anywhere I can get some coarse vermiculite online for less than $20?
